FROM THE HEAD OF SCHOOL Dear Members of the Lauralton Hall Family, With gratitude and enthusiasm, I invite you to view our 2023-2024 Report of Giving. This report celebrates and thanks the Lauralton Hall donors who supported the school during an invigorating year of growth for the school’s Annual Fund.

Thanks to our donors, great schools, like Lauralton Hall, are able to offer the high quality programs we do. Tuition alone does not cover the cost of providing an exceptional education to a Lauralton lady today as well as caring for our historic facility.

If you follow philanthropic news, women now give significantly more money to causes that are important to them than ever before. At Lauralton, we are also pleased to see that trend in giving.

Alumna Laurie Pichnarcik '71, made a groundbreaking gift of stock worth more than $155,000 this past fiscal year. Laurie credits Lauralton Hall for setting her up for success in life in her career as a Systems Analyst. We are truly grateful.

While larger gifts have significantly impacted Lauralton, it's important to remember that annual gifts, regardless of their size, continue to be the backbone of our institution, ensuring the success of the young women in our care.

Gifts to Lauralton Hall for 2023-2024 included donations to the Lauralton Annual Fund, general scholarship, and donor restricted funds. Events including The Athletic Hall of Fame, Christmas in the Mansion, Homecoming, Reunions, Irish Night, and the Spring Gala also contributed to the total. Additional funds were donated in support of the Bode Endowed Scholarship, the Chito Lucas "Keep the Faith” Scholarship, the Elsie Santangelo Scott Class of 1955 Scholarship, and the General Endowed Scholarship Fund.

THE ENDOWMENT The Endowment at Lauralton Hall provides long-term financial support for sustainable ongoing funding. Planned giving is critical to growing Lauralton’s endowment. This type of long-term planning ensures Lauralton continues to enhance educational programs and services and stay at the forefront of academic excellence.

DONOR SPOTLIGHT Lauralton Hall has benefitted yet again from the loyalty and generosity of our alumnae. Reflecting on her years at Lauralton Hall, Laurie Pichnarcik, feels that her time on High Street set her on the right path toward her professional career as a Systems Analyst.

A consistent donor to the Lauralton Annual Fund, Laurie and her husband, John Crossin, decided this year to make an additional donation of stock shares to her alma mater. The sale of the stock resulted in a donation of just over $155,000— a major gift for our school. We are deeply grateful!

RECENT IMPROVEMENTS We are the stewards of this remarkable property. We have a responsibility to the past, present, and future to take care of the beautiful grounds and historic buildings. This summer, your support has made it possible to complete phase one of a repair and restoration project on the Mansion porch where so many meaningful gatherings—from new family welcome evenings to the weddings of our alumnae—have taken place.
