- CUBA JARDINES DE LA REINA Die Hürden waren groß: Covid macht das Reisen in diesem Jahr wirklich kompliziert. Aber davon lasse ich mich nicht abschrecken. Und was soll ich sagen? Der Aufwand war die Mühe hundert Mal wert. Nie hätte ich mir das erwartet: Das Fischen in den Jardines de la Reina war das Beste, das ich bisher dort erleben durfte. Unsere Gruppe feierte einen Erfolg nach dem anderen: Insgesamt haben wir 461 Tarpon gehakt und 162 davon gelandet! Zur Krönung hatten wir sieben Permits mit sieben Grand Slam auf unserem Boot. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis für uns alle.

The obstacles were huge: Covid really complicates travelling this year. But it would not be me, if I let this put me off. And what can I say? The effort was worth it a hundred times over. Never in a million years would I have imagined this: The fishing in the Jardines de la Reina was the best I‘ve experienced there so far. Our group celebrated one success after another: We hooked a total of 461 tarpon and landed 162 of them! To top it off, we had seven permits with seven Grand Slam on our boat. An unforgettable experience for all of us.
