Greetings Sunday Schoolers!
The Spring Quarter Topic: God's Perfect Plan!
God has a perfect plan for every life he creates. Aperfect plan that is uniquely tailored to each individual. However, we all have one thing in common as it relates to CHRIST.
JESUS CHRIST died for all of us; yes, for the sins of the whole world. In support of this truth, CHRIST is not willing that any should perish but that ALL should come to repentance (2. Peter 3:9).
As Sunday Schoolers, lets make listening an act of WORSHIP. Isaiah 55:3 tells us to “Incline your ear, and come to Me: hear, and your soul shall live;.” JESUS is God's ONLY provision for sin. As Christians, we must be on high alert, and ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the HOPE that is in you (1. Peter 3:15).
God Bless ALL of you in Jesus name!
Much Love in Jesus Name!

The Five Original Blue Zones
National Geographic Explorer, Fellow and journalist, Dan Buettner, and his team of scientists and demographers traveled the world in search of communities where people not only lived longer but also enjoyed a high quality of life in their old age. After analyzing demographic data and interviewing numerous centenarians, they identified five regions that stood out for their extraordinary longevity and vitality.
Nicoya, Costa Rica

BUSINESS-TO-BUSINESS COLLABORATION TO MAKE IT HAPPEN!
MONYA WYATT CONSULTING AND DR. SANDRA DEES, PRESIDENT & CEO
10 Star Trendsetters Teen Center was launched on
September 5, 2023, to provide a fun safe space for teens after school. This proactive initiative is the overarching design needed to minimize negative behaviors and activities that could potentially be disruptive in the community. So far, we have served 300 teenagers in the after-school program. We provided pizza, snacks, drinks, and games of all kinds. Tutoring is also available to help students succeed academically as this is the primary reason for going to school.
The goal is to make sure the students are given all opportunities to succeed, through adult interaction and community engagement. We know it takes a village, and we are so thankful for our village.
So many of you have stepped up to the plate to ensure that young people are given proper guidance and exposure to the goods in life. We are so very thankful to every one of you who sacrificed your time, experiences, and finances.
Again, the 10 Star Trendsetters Teen Center’s purpose is to help uplift and provide that bridge that connects school, education, and work. It is super exciting to see all the volunteers that have provided leadership to the teens! Words are inadequate, but I hope you can feel the love!

GEAT Leadership Academy
The GEAT Leadership Team provides training for our Leaders multiple times a year to improve and grow our effectiveness as church leaders. Last January 2023, the decision was made to change the Leadership Team meeting frequency to bi-monthly meetings so we could increase the amount of training we provide. The objective is to "Be Intentional about the growth and development of our Leaders". As a result of this new intentional focus on training, we created the GEAT LEADERSHIP ACADEMY. The training under this new format is for everyone and it will be available via our GEAT Facebook page, our Emanuel Broadcast YouTube channel, or in person.
Our first speaker in February was our very own, District Elder Pamela J. Bowers-Mitchell who now pastors 2 churches in FL and CT. As you know, she is the sister and sister-in-law of our very own First Lady, Pastor Trish, and Sr. Pastor Sfg, Bishop Daniel. She is the youngest daughter of our late Apostolic Father, Bishop Paul A. Bowers, and Dr. Elma J. Bowers. Her topic was "Leading Through Adversity". In the times we live in, we cannot afford to quit...We must continue this walk despite the fiery darts and challenges that come to try to stop us. She gave an excellent presentation, teaching us that our adversity is many times what God uses to "bring to the surface something that is within us for the betterment of where you are and/or what you're doing" for Him. We gleaned so much from her testimony of endurance based on the mercies and blessings of God.
Our Speaker for April 8th will be none other than our Presiding Bishop of the P.A.W., Bishop Theodore Brooks. He will be speaking on "The Relevance of the Apostolic Pentecostal Message Today". We are so honored to have such a powerful Speaker and cannot wait to hear this message. So, get ready now by adding the next GEAT Leadership Academy to your calendar on Monday, April 8th at 6 pm. You don't want to miss it.
Blessings,
Sis. Carol D. Wade GEAT Leadership Academy, Director

SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS ROCK!
Sunday School Teachers are very important, they research and study to build lessons to feed hungry minds. The teacher's goal is to educate students to grow in the word of God as they apply the Bible to everyday life. Teachers are hard workers, they love to see their students develop and master the lessons that have been taught.
Teaching is a serious art and is not to be taken lightly. Teachers are trusted with the souls of impressionable individuals who are seeking words of hope, encouragement, life, wisdom, and understanding. God has commissioned us to feed his lambs who are hungry to understand spiritual lessons from the Bible. We are blessed to have good teachers in Sunday School we salute them!

March 2024
Jesus is God
Unit 1 - Confirmed by Power over Death
March 3, 2024: Evangelist Mytice Nesbitt; LESSON 1: Jesus’ Claim to Deity; John 8:31-38, 48-56, 58-59
This week’s lesson focuses on Christ’s offer of eternal life and freedom from sin for all who abide in His Word. When sinners come to Jesus, they are set free from the shackles of sin. Freedom is a beautiful word that can be applied in many contexts; prison, financial debt, etc. The concept of freedom, however, has a deeper meaning for Christians. Christ came to set us free from sin and its consequences, leading us into eternal life. This lesson deals with that kind of freedom. “Do you know Jesus.”
March 10, 2024: Sister Sandra Wyatt; LESSON 2: Jairus’s Daughter and the Bleeding Woman; Luke 8:40-56
This weeks lesson teaches us that Jesus has authority over death and sickness, this offers us hope in any and every situation. He gave hope to Jairus and the woman with the hemorrhage of blood, faith in Jesus is the only way to have true hope in the face of difficulties. This lesson encourages us to see difficult situations as opportunities to trust in Jesus and see Him work.
March 17, 2024: Minister Cheryl Bowden; LESSON 3: Complete in Christ: Colossians 2:6-19
It is easy to recognize the Lord’s presence in the pleasant times of our life, our weddings, births, baptisms, graduations, and other joyful occasions. However, it is more difficult to recognize His presence in the hardship of life. Is He really there when we suffer financial troubles, natural disasters, automobile accidents, or lawsuits? Does He care when my children are sick and tottering on the brink of death? Where is He when my family is falling apart, or when we lose our jobs? We may not always know why God allows us to suffer, but we can trust and have faith that God will never allow more to come on us than we can bare and that He will never leave nor forsake us in our time of need. Jesus cares for people in their deepest times of need, He showed us that even death can be used for God’s glory and the strengthening of our faith.
March 24, 2024: Sister Frances Lowery; LESSON 4: The Crucifixion of Jesus: Luke 23:33-49
This weeks lesson focuses on the crucifixion of Jesus and His words of hope to the thief on the cross. Even at His own death, Jesus never stopped fulfilling his mission to save those who are seeking to be saved. “Father forgive them; for they know not what they do.” Jesus was not saying that ignorance was an excuse for sin. He was practicing what He taught throughout His ministry, and He was fulfilling prophecy (Isa. 53:12), He was showing love for those who were his enemy (He was not there enemy, they were His); •Luke 6:27-28 (27) But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, (28) Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. Several groups of people mocked and berated Jesus. (rulers, people, and soldiers) even though they were mocking him, they were also speaking the truth about him. Unknowingly, they were confirming that He is the One who can save them and others by not saving Himself but by giving Himself. Jesus is referred to as –“the Christ of God, the Chosen One of God, the king of the Jews, and there was a superscription written, “This is The King Of The Jews”. All this was fulfilling the prophetic word of Psalm 22:6-18. Thus, confirming that Jesus is the Messiah.
March 31, 2024: Brother Guy Frazier; LESSON 5: The Resurrection of Jesus: Luke 24:1-12, 30-35
Today’s lesson concludes unit one on Jesus’ Power Over Death with the ultimate defeat of the last enemy DEATH, Jesus’ own resurrection from the dead. By His resurrection Jesus confirmed that He is the Son of God, the Messiah, the Christ sent to save from sin and redeem us back unto the God. He gave us the assurance that we too one day will be raised from the dead (1 Thess. 4:14). The power of the resurrection is seen in the changed lives, healing of broken hearts, and the restoration of love in families and individuals worldwide.
