LA CAMBUMBITA

My name is Ivanna A. Peña, also known as La Cambumbita. I am 10 years old, from Juncos, Puerto Rico but living in Davenport, FL.

I’ve been in this sport for about 2 years, using an ATV DRR with mechanical customization by Clavo Tech.

In 2017 I asked for an ATV and my parents bought me an Apollo. In 2018 I wanted to become a member of The Florida Trail Riders and with help from a few people I became a member. My dream is to race professionally and design racing clothes. This inspired my Mom to start Hoy Se Corre clothing design.

I’ve had a couple of accidents, but it’s part of racing and since racing is my passion I get up and keep on. As I said before I want to become a professional racer and visit diff erent places to compete and earn more trophies. For now, I’ve won 6 medals and 3 plaques. I owe a lot of my success to my coach El Negro. He is my mentor and he always reminds me to just go out there and have fun. I’m looking forward to the upcoming season in September 2022. I will be practicing all summer long to make sure I’m ready.

For those who are starting this path I advise you to practice, if you fall get up and keep on. If you don’t make the cut don’t give up and try again. Just keep motivated; you’ll make it.

My name is Jonah Ramos. I am 11 years old and I am from Jacksonville, FL. I have been riding for 6 years and my dad built my fi rst bike. My Papi (dad) is the best stunt rider in the world. Its so much fun going on riding adventures it makes me feel alive and free.

I currently am riding a brand new 2021 CRF 110 Hammer I worked really hard to earn this bike. I haven’t made any modifi cations to it but in the future, I want to wrap it to change the bike color as well as diff erent seat cover and maybe bigger bars.

When riding it’s important to be safe wear your gear and fi nd a safe place to ride.

Always remember keep your heart happy do what you love, growing up is a trick.
