My Name is Heather Seiwell, I’m 31 years old, I live in Brooksville and Live to Ride. I’ve been riding for about 4 years. I’m lucky that I get to spend so much time around bikes since I work as a Saleswoman at Barneys of Brooksville.

I ride a 2009 Kawasaki ZX6R. I stay mostly in Hernando/ Pasco County However my favorite place to ride a motorcycle is the Tale of The Dragon and The Cherohala Skyway. It was introduced to me by someone I loved who has since passed away in a motorcycle accident and that place will always be special to me. I like to say it is where I really learned how to ride. When I was brought up there, I had only been riding on my own for about 9 months. It was the most amazing experience ever.

Riding is throttle therapy of course, which is why I like to ride. It’s kinda a funny story how I got into riding. I was always a passenger, I always loved bikes but I am 5 ft tall and I always thought I was too small and I would never be able to ride on my own. Well about 4 years ago I was on the back and a truck pulled out in front of us and caused us to Tbone the truck. I ended up with a fractured knee, severed meniscus, herniated disks throughout my spine and neck, and also a brain injury. I used my settlement check to buy my first motorcycle!! I was done being a passenger and I had seen so many other female riders that were small like myself and they inspired me to give it a shot. Turns out, I am better on a motorcycle than my own 2 feet hahaha.
