INTERNSHIPS

SEPT 12, 2022 - MAY 14, 2023 The Acting Internship at Florida Rep is centered around, but not limited to, the Theatre for Young Audiences Program. Performing in these plays with the Education

Program is the Acting Interns' f irst responsibility. These professional productions are on tour all over Southwest Florida as well as performed on our mainstage. Interns may also be cast in mainstage productions.

2022/2023 Touring TVA: The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley, Macbeth, and one more show to be announced. The Performance Interns' duties for each play involve a myriad of tasks and require enthusiasm to work and to learn, and the aim is that Interns leave with a very clear understanding of how this business works on every level and to have worked in a number of capacities using a wide range of skills including Front of House, Production, and more!

Summer camp internships are centered around Florida Reps' theatrical product-based program for ages 9 - 18 and creative dramatics programs for ages 5 - 8. SUMMER INTENSIVE CAMPS are a fast-paced and hands-on instructed program

focused on music, dance and acting and delivered in a fun and energetic environment. Students learn the theatrical process of putting on a show and take ownership in their product and growth. MINI STARS is an introductory course that focuses on story-telling and creative pay in lieu of staging a fully-realized production. Emphasis is on expanding imagination and creativity while enhancing social, communication, and teambuilding skills. For specific program offerings, visit
