“We’ve been coming to FL Rep for years, and we’ve loved it every time.”
“I loved how Torvald showed so much of his character through his acting. Just being so businesslike and polite for so long, and then finally losing it. I thought they might get back together at the end. He and Nora kept us guessing!”
“Emmy displayed her veiled fury beautifully.”
“I can’t wait to bring my friends to this play before it closes.”
“Are they gonna do all this again tonight? Wow. HOW DO THEY DO THAT?”
“One of the finest productions ever! Thought provoking and amazing. Some of the most impressive plays ever have been ones in the Art Stage!”
“Nora was outstanding. She was on stage the whole time and did a remarkable job with the role and engaging the audience to understand her situation.”
“We both loved this play and this performance of it. We viewed the streamed version during Covid, but enjoyed this one MUCH MORE. The Acting was superb. Loved seeing it in the small theater where we felt very connected with the actors. They did a great job of connecting us to the action on the stage. The Direction, Costumes, Lighting, Sets, all added to the performance. When we left the theater we had a great discussion and reconfirmed that our 30+ years of marriage were great.”
“Was a very intense play and we were very impressed by the acting and the circle theater. I think this type of intensity could not be duplicated in a large theater.”
“This play has huge segments of uninterrupted dialog, particularly for the female lead. Your actress did an incredible job of staying on point and showing full blown emotion for the entire performance, she was incredible.”
“The production was OUTSTANDING. The actors conveying the play OUTSTANDING. Born in NY, I felt I was on BROADWAY in the 70’s with Jason Robards, Colleen Duherst….A very provocative subject (saw the original Ibsen play) very timely today. It was a delight. At our performance, I was surprised at the post commentary. The women didn’t grasp the essence of Nora… or the continuing struggle of women today… Keep this level of performance coming!!!!”
“Loved the show! Top notch! This New York transplant who has seen hundreds of Broadway and Off Broadway productions (and acted in a few) was totally impressed!”

Country superstars Brooks & Dunn have rebooted their canceled 2020 tour and added some venues they’ve never played before — including Estero’s Hertz Arena.
The duo’s Reboot Tour visits Hertz Arena on Friday, June 3. Tickets start at $50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. today.
Both Hertz Arena and Brooks & Dunn announced the tour Monday.
“It is our full intent to step onto the stage each night and throw down like the wildest honky tonk you’ve never been to…yet,” Ronnie Dunn said in a news release on their website. “Don’t be concerned about the mess left afterwards, y’all just enjoy yourselves and we’ll worry about that later.”
The Reboot Tour follows the duo’s return to the road in 2021, a year after canceling their 2020 tour because of the pandemic. It kicks off May 5 in Evansville, Indiana, and includes two other Florida stops: Frank Brown Park in Panama City Beach (June 2) and Jacksonville’s VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena (June 4).
“Last year we fired up the buses and ‘let it roll’ again,” Kix Brooks said in the news release. “Thanks for reminding us how you guys can shake every stage we walk on to…damn, it feels good to be back with ya! Bring it! We’ll meet you there!”
The new tour includes some cities they’ve never played, and others they haven’t visited in more than two decades, according to the release. Brooks & Dunn have never played Hertz Arena, according to an arena spokesperson.
Country acts Gabby Barrett and King Calaway will open the 7 p.m. show at Hertz Arena. Parking on the arena grounds is $25.
