INCIDENT AT OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP PATRON COMMENTS
We loved this show!! One of the best ones ever!! So funny and very entertaining. What a great evening!!!
Delightful evening.
Loved the show. I loved the humor it was a laugh a minute! The actors used just the right inflections at the right time! I enjoyed every minute! I also enjoyed the ending wrap up of their lives !
First act was slow moving. Second act was great ! The acting was marvelous.
Some VERY funny lines. The musical interruptions of 70's hits was delightful, giving us a moment each time to 'get in our groove.' Having one gentleman playing three roles certainly added to the play. Was that part of the script or just cleverness by the director? There was certainly an element of predictability to the play, but that didn't detract from the belly laugh comedy. A great start to the anniversary season of Fl Rep.
Great show. Great choice of actors. Hilarious!
I am a new season ticket holder and was so thrilled to come enjoy live theatre yesterday after so much Hurricane trauma and devastation. I loved the play! The cast was terrific! Thank you Florida Repertory Theatre!!! Also really appreciate the parking right across the street! So convenient!
The production and actresses and actor were excellent. Very entertaining. Would certainly recommend it Loved the show!! Acting was excellent. Poignantly funny and heartwarming. Thoroughly enjoyable experience Just beautiful. brought tears to my eyes. Laughter is good. Great job. Thank you.
Thoroughly enjoyed everything. Loved the structure of the play with the narrator. The male who provided the 3 parts was especially pointe as a woman neighbor. Wig topped it off.
Happy play, just a tonic after Ian. At first, we treated it as a lighthearted evening's entertainment, but upon reflection it spurred discussions about the mores of the 1970's and the effect that ready access to birth control, changes in the economic structures of families, etc. have had on society. Fifty years = seismic changes.
It was a nice play, a bit awkward at first, but the more it went on the players became more relaxed. The premise was funny, I enjoyed the narration, and participation of everyone singing. Everyone did a good job. I thought thou this play was more in the 60's to me as a young teen, on Long Island, New York
We have never been disappointed that we attend the Previews - and we were thoroughly pleased at every aspect of this play and performance. It was a great trip down memory lane back to 1970's, and the dialogue and the delivery were perfect. After all our area has been through, it was just the evening we all needed - lots of laughs with just the right touch of reality.
Best comedy ever!
Thoroughly enjoyed this production
We loved this show!! One of the best ones ever!!
Delightful evening.
Loved the show.
The acting was marvelous.
Loved the play. Can't imagine how anyone can remember all those lines. Fabulous performances by all five actors.
We enjoyed the play. It certainly was different. I am not sure what my catholic friends would say. Any way it was good to see the Rep try something different.
Awesome! Laughed out loud! Great performance and great actors! Way to start a new season!
Very happy with all aspects of the play, I had a great time laughing and appreciating the handling of the topics.
The humor of typical family problems.
we loved it! Fun idea of the main character explaining what was happening! All actors did a great job!
Very well written and the acting was fantastic. 10/27/2022 02:50 PM
Well done. Nice to have something funny to take our minds off the disaster. Enjoyed it very much.
Great job by the priest/father.
Loved everything about this play and I was even wide awake after intermission
This was the best comedy I've seen... ever! The script was creative, dialogue was clever, cast was sensational. It was one belly laugh after another. We just enjoyed it sooo much! 10/27/2022 01:35 PM
Thank you so very much for emailing our tickets which were lost in the hurricane.
We attended last night and the play was some of the very best medicine for us since the hurricane … topped only by hugs from neighbors and friends from Sanibel and knowing they were safe, too! Please let the staff and the actors know how very much we LOVED the play and even more
how they LIFTED our spirits and what an AMAZING job they did ♥️♥️♥️ Thank you
all so much!
Casting was great
One of the best we have seen in a few years.

Show was different but very enjoyable. Excellent cast. Great iob
As usual, all outstanding performances by all on stage.
Wonderful hilarious play!
Outstanding performances & stage set. Just loved this one!
I thought it was hysterical. The audience was obviously having a great time.
Extremely well written and the acting was superb.
Great casting. From the beginning we felt "welcomed" by the quirky O'Shea family. This was an evening of therapeutic laughter! Loved, loved, loved the play!
We loved this show and would see it again!
One of your better plays! Uplifting funny storyline. Lovd the interaction with the audience. David and Carine were especially great.
Loved everything about the play.
It was a fun play. Laughing throughout. The actors were all so good and the time just flew by!!
Well done interesting play
This was a great upbeat play! Loved it all. The comedy was masterful.
All Good. Funny show, well done by all
The show was wonderful
Everything about the show was amazing.
I loved all the actors but the mother was my favorite.
The play was a little slow going in the beginning of the 1st act, but really sped up in the second act, Enjoyed the performance very much.
Love the humor and needed it with circumstances the way they are now. Excellent acting!!!
It was wonderful, a perfect antidote to that nasty Ian. We enjoyed it very very much and have recommended it highly to friends.
was very good acting
I was so impressed that you pulled off an outstanding performance in such a short time following the hurricane.
Thoroughly relatable subject (my wife was a convent schoolgirl!) innovatively and engagingly portrayed and delivered by the company
Very cute playwriting. Wish it would have had a happier ending but you can't change that. Sets and props were so authentic! Where do you find those old appliances? Acting was superb, particularly Emma Geer. Had me entertained and took my mind off my Hurricane damage worries so you can't ask for much more than that!
One of the best comedies and story telling ever!
I don't know how much discretion you have for modifications but since it took place in 1973 I thought there might be mention of abortion, especially since the production took place the year that years' Supreme Court decision was revered.
The play was not what I was expecting, but I LOVED it!!! The cast did an excellent job. As a child of the 70's, I could really relate to the subject matter. Thank you for an evening filled with laughter!!
I love your theater. Far better experiences than at the Barbara B. Mann where we had Broadway series tickets and gave those up for your theater.
Thank you very much for continuing to bring great theater to SWF in spite of IAN also I too will move if the Locusts arrive
