What a great Convention we had this year! The YPI committee hosted our annual Mix N Mingle Event on Wednesday, May 17th at Big Foot Axe Throwers. We had just over 50 participants and were able to raise $2,000 toward YPI Scholarships to the annual Convention. In addition, the YPI Committee hosted a Charity drive for Dreamcatcher Horse Rescue, a local Charity in Clermont, FL. The Florida Federation of Fairs was able to collect $5,061 to help the rescue succeed!

Coming in the 2023- 2024 year YPI would like to announce the Rising Star Award presented by YPI. The goal of this award is to recognize the leadership and industry contributions of Florida Federation members, age 40 and younger. Nominees not selected will need to be re-submitted each year to be considered. The deadline for nomination will be April 1, 2024. Nominees shall be associated as an employee, volunteer, or board member of a member fair, show, exposition, or exhibition in good standing with the Florida Federation of Fair & Livestock Shows. Nominees shall not have reached their 41st birthday prior to the first day of the Florida Federation of Fairs Convention.
