NEWS OF FLORIDA FAIRS Citrus County Fair
The 2023 Fair “Carnival Lights Home Grown Delights” was a banner year!
The weather was good all week. The attendance was also great. The entertainment was enjoyed by our patrons. The lineup this year included;

Danny Grant (Cowboy Circus), RoboCars, Fritzy, Rowdy Rooster, Robinson’s Racing Pigs, Lazer Tag, and Brad Matchett Comedy Hypnotist Show. We had two awesome concerts. Jimmy Mowery on Friday and JukeBox Memories on Saturday in the Auditorium.
Our contests were also a success. The Ag Bowl, Pie Eating, Skill were fun and educational.
The exhibits were well received and made beautiful displays for the folks to enjoy. The commercial exhibits offered an array of products for review and purchase.
We were excited to have Modern Midways as our carnival this year. They had lots of new and exciting rides and games for the people to enjoy. There were specials all week on the Midway.
The Youth Livestock programs were record numbers this year. The shows and sales were a tremendous success. We are very thankful for the community support of our youth.


We had a fun time at the convention in Orlando. We appreciate the learning opportunities offered. The networking and fellowship with our Fair Family were enjoyed by all. We won two first Kandi McPherson and our photograph by Marlene Law was accepted for the 2023-24 Directory Cover.


We have several off-season rentals coming up; Rabbit Show, Gun Show, Dance Recitals, The Elvis Summer Fest was in June and the 27th Annual Citrus Stampede Rodeo in November. We are glad the grounds stay busy.
The 2024 Fair is March 25 - 31. Come see us!
