Charles D Smith Architecture and Planning, LLC Announces Four New Projects

Charlie Smith, Principal Architect with Charles D. Smith Architecture & Planning , LLC , 2017 FFF Associate of the Year and IAFE Board Member, recently announced four new Fairgrounds projects..

The first is the Masterplan and concept design for the relocation of the Greater Jacksonville Ag Fair & Expo Center, an on-site Masterplanning workshop for the Southwest Florida and Lee County Fair & Civic Center , the third project, located in Georgia, for the Lee County Ag Events Center located on a newly acquired 100 acre site in Leesburg, Georgia and the fourth is the Grant County Fair Exposition Center located in Moses Lake, Washington.

Smith noted that “our fairgrounds industry is indeed continuing to look at their existing facilities for possible improvements and enhancements to improve the attendee experience and develop facilities to increase year around usage and revenue.
