Then they arrived at the Psychiatric Center. Inside the center the doctors looked at him very weird, first of all because they didn’t recognise him, as he was a new patient and on the other hand, in that center it was very strange to see an old man. Leonard was moved to an empty room alone with some doctor's stuff. That room only had one little window that when he looked through it he saw the policeman and a doctor talking. Then the doctor enters the room and starts to do general controls.

“How old are you?” The doctor asked.

“How much do you weigh?”

“How high are you?”

All protocols question that he needed the information to use a strange machine. After all those questions the doctors leave the room, but he still controls Mr Mead by using a

camera. Leonard was very quiet and nervous, he didn’t know what to do. Suddenly a strange gas starts to enter the room under the door, Leonard starts to scream for help but nobody helps him.The gas made him sleep, and then he woke up in another room where it was the doctor, but also he had next to him a strange machine. That machine is used to erase the memory of people that have regressive tendencies.

In this center they do this so he can adapt again with society. After using the machine Mr Mead only remembered some things about him and also they added new memories to him. Mr Mead stopped doing the thing that he loved, which was walking on the street without a purpose only for walking. They also made him forget that he was a writer. They taught him through the machine not to be so lonely because that wasn’t good for him. Now the only thing that he does at night is use his new viewing screen.
