The theme for our Fall 2022 issue is Courage. "Courage is not the lack of fear. It is acting in spite of it." -Mark Twain When you think of having the courage or being courageous, do you think of yourself? Who do you think of? We all have courage. We have the courage to put ourselves out there, and whether or not people will accept us is not up to us. We have the courage to put our art out there, even if no one will ever see it. Every moment of every day we experience discomfort. Some chose to avoid it, others are forced to push through and carry on. Courage is getting up in the morning, even when you want to stay in bed. Courage is telling yourself you are not defined by your past or what has happened to you. You define yourself.
