Flinders University is unique in Adelaide for being the only university to offer on-campus student accommodation. 550 students can be accommodated in safe and secure housing, where they can both live and study in beautiful surroundings and meet new friends from different backgrounds and cultures. The convenience of living on campus is enhanced by easy access to regular bus services that take residents to the local shopping precinct, the beach and to Adelaide’s CBD.

Uni Hall The Uni Hall is home to 240 students primarily from rural/interstate Australia and overseas. Uni Hall provides an environment that fosters independence, tolerance, equality and a sense of community. Each resident has their own secure room fully furnished with a bed, desk, direct dial telephone and data line for Internet access for those with their own computers. The Hall also has communal dining, television and common rooms, as well as a computer laboratory, library, music and art room, and a tennis/basketball court.

Deirdre Jordan Village The Deirdre Jordan Village provides students with the convenience of on-campus living in a safe, secure and affordable self-catered unit. Boasting 311 beds, each unit contains a common living/dining area, kitchen, bathroom & toilet facilities, desks, study chairs and a single bed in each bedroom. Individual telephones and data connections and secure storage space for each resident makes living and studying at the Deirdre Jordan Village a pleasure.

Other Accommodation Options If you’d prefer to live off campus, Flinders Housing can also assist you. We run a free, up-to-date accommodation service that lists private accommodation available on the rental market. If you’re about to come to Adelaide to commence your studies, you may also want to make use of our Temporary Accommodation Information. Prospective residents are invited to email any questions to flinders.housing@flinders.edu.au or please see our website for application and costing details www.flinders.edu.au/housing.
