Land Acknowledgement We acknowledge that the land that Fleming College Toronto is on is the traditional territory of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinaabe, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island.

We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 signed with the Mississaugas of the Credit, and the Williams Treaties signed with multiple Mississaugas and Chippewa bands.

Fleming College Toronto has settled on this land and recognizes the importance of respecting the voices and history of all Indigenous communities.

This territory is within the Dish with One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement between the Haudenosaunee, the Anishnaabe and allied nations to share and care for the regions around the Great Lakes. We are grateful to work on this land.

About the Mural: Created by the Indigenous artist Tehatsistahawi, this mural adorns the wall outside the library in the main campus, reminding us of Indigenous culture and the interconnectedness of the local community. The right side represents students. The left side portrays the three clans of the Onyota’aka, one of the nations that Tehatsistahawi belongs to. Bold black lines connect both sides, a representation of the relations among the greater community.

If you already have intermediate English skills (IELTS 3.5 equivalent and up), you can begin your journey through 6 levels of ELB.

Language Requirements Graduate from FCT English Language Bridge level 5 or provide an IELTS Academic overall band score of 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 or equivalent (students applying through the SDS stream must have an overall 6.0 with no bands less than 6.0).

Immigration Student Advising Our team of International Student Advisors can help enrolled students with their student-related immigration questions through group immigration advising, dropin sessions and one-to-one appointments.
