Welcome to Fleming College Toronto English Language Bridge (ELB)!

Learn the language and academic skills to succeed in college and beyond with Fleming College

Toronto English Language Bridge (FCT ELB), a direct pathway to your desired diploma or graduate certificate program at Fleming College Toronto. If you already have intermediate English skills (IELTS 3.5 equivalent and up), you can begin your journey through 6 levels of ELB.

How to Apply for FCT ELB

1. Submit an application to Fleming College Toronto (FCT).

2. Receive a customized study plan based on your English level.*

3. Submit all necessary documents.

4. Pay your fees.

5. Receive a Letter of Acceptance from FCT.

*Provide a score from a recognized English test OR complete a free English assessment from FCT.

Admission Requirements

The diploma program requires a high school diploma. Graduate certificate programs require a college diploma or university undergraduate degree in a related program.

If English is your second language, you must provide proof of language proficiency.

For Diploma and Ontario College

Certificate programs, you are expected to graduate from the FCT English Language Bridge program (ELB) level 5 or provide an IELTS Academic overall band score of 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 or equivalent (students applying through the SDS stream must have an overall 6.0 with no bands less than 6.0).

For Graduate certificate programs, you are required to graduate from FCT English Language Bridge program (ELB) level 6 or provide an IELTS Academic Overall 6.5 with no band less than 6.0 or equivalent.
