Award-winning smart lock Glyde Digital is a world first, Internet of Things (IoT) technology developed by Fleetwood Australia that makes accommodation smarter, providing real-time information to optimise convenience and comfort for guests. First applied to mining workforce accommodation, Glyde Digital transforms guest and staff transactions from a physical to a digital exchange, allowing contactless room check-in and access using smartphones, as one example. Osprey Village
From smaller scale community developments to larger volume-based projects, Fleetwood consistently produces high quality prefabricated housing for residential living. Our homes range from one, two and three bedroom private residences, workers accommodation and mixed use developments. Osprey Village
A place of connection for local community Fleetwood provided a full turn-key solution as part of a joint venture with the Housing Authority, Royalties for Regions. The Osprey Village consists of 293 dwellings and provides affordable high-quality housing in Port Hedland, Western Australia. Fleetwood now operates the village for the Housing Authority and have done since the completion of the project in 2014.

The village (built and completed within 9 months) consists of one, two and three bedroom houses and provides great community living. The village features a parkland barbeque area, playground, community room, fully maintained gardens and buildings, CCTV security and an onsite management team.
The joint venture was undertaken through the State Government’s Royalties for Regions ‘Housing for Workers Program’ to address the trends regarding low-availability and high cost housing.
A range of the homes within the premise have been designed and built for the elderly and people with limited mobility. The accessibility of these houses is of paramount importance as is the entire village, which provides its residents with a safe and accessible local community.
The Osprey Village was an important step forward in providing quality, affordable accommodation to both residents and businesses sourcing long term accommodation in regional areas around Australia and specifically in northern Western Australia.
Housing solutions to end homelessness Fleetwood is honoured to be sponsoring and supporting Shelter WA during Homelessness Week, with over 116,000 Australians experiencing homelessness on any given night, this issue is more pressing than ever. We believe every person should have access to safe and secure housing. As an industry leader in modular housing, our team has spent the past five decades developing solutions for efficient, affordable and sustainable building practices that we believe can be a core part of the solution to ensuring more Australian families have a place to call home. We would like to thank Shelter WA for their ongoing work to spread awareness about the reality of homelessness, and their role in creating homes for those in need.

Modern and relocatable community housing Fleetwood was contracted to deliver homes for Manjimup Senior Housing Project as part of a modular building panel for the WA State Government. The houses were built to complement the essence of country club living and resort-style facilities with the freedom, affordability and a secure sense of community.

Fleetwood provided the client with an economical and affordable solution to the Manjimup region.
Fleetwood built and delivered six 2 bed x 1 bathroom houses for seniors in different colourways with full turnkey solution which includes landscaping, fencing, installing clotheslines, letterboxes, garages and internal finishes.
The availability of affordable housing boosts the standards of living, health and wellbeing for local residents by providing a safe and functional accommodation.

Jimmy’s Pavilion
State-of-the-art youth wellbeing sanctuary Fleetwood was contracted to deliver a state of the art wellbeing sanctuary to accommodate marginalised, disengaged and disadvantaged youth on the Mornington Peninsula (Victoria) by providing a safe place for young people to connect with trained, qualified staff and volunteers, as well as other young people. Designed by CO-OP studios and constructed by Fleetwood, Jimmy’s Youth Wellbeing Sanctuary was procured through a local charity known as Jimmy’s Foundation with the help of the YMCA Southern Peninsula Youth Services.

Located in the hub of the Peninsula’s retail strip, the bespoke double-storey permanent modular building required 16 modules (544 square metres) to be installed across a range of screw piles over two days.
Jimmy’s Youth Wellbeing Sanctuary will assist young people by engaging them in holistic, complementary and current wellbeing practices, as well as skill-based learning to strengthen their mental, physical and emotional health, resilience and skillsets.
The building included a variety of spaces from meeting rooms for consultations, yoga rooms, a kitchen facility, social enterprise café, bedrooms with amenities, an entry deck to an outdoor open courtyard along with a multipurpose room and gallery hangout space for children to utilise during their stay. A full turnkey solution covering all aspects of the delivery of the project was provided. Fleetwood was responsible for the initial site set-up, demolition of the existing office building and entry veranda and removal of asbestos prior to the new building being delivered. In addition to the delivery and installation of the new modular facility, Fleetwood completed further site works and landscaping as part of the project including the timber screen external façade, which was the main design feature of the building.
The sanctuary has been designed around embodying a singular piece of furniture. Something to be sat in, on and around that creates a welcoming and positive environment for years to come. It cleverly combines a number of different and evolving zones including a multi-functional main group area, an internal courtyard (for passive engagement, time out and conversation), a meditation and yoga room, a social enterprise cafe, a gallery space and accommodation for specific youth retreats. The building accommodates all physical abilities and has been designed to achieve maximum energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
