Situated close to the Narembeen township, this purpose–built village provides a rapid, easily accessible housing solution with close ties to the local community.

Rapid mobilisation
Construction and installation of the 120–person village was completed within a strict three–month timeframe
Future asset flexibility
The use of removable screw piles ensures the site footprint can be fully restored to its previous state, allowing the facility to be re–activated for a second-life cycle as short–term accommodation.
Complex site engineering
To combat extremely poor site soil conditions, site preparation included clearing 200mm topsoil plus the importation and compaction of 700mm clean fill.
Self–sufficient infrastructure
To meet increased demand, Fleetwood constructed an independent wastewater treatment plant to ensure the facility remained fully operational and self–sufficient.
Community integration
Proximity to the town centre reduces barriers to local amenities, such as the gymnasium, bowls club and swimming pool.
