We, the Board of Directors, would like to thank all who attended the meeting on August 17th. We appreciate the feedback we received and will follow up on the wildlife issues with the Park Management Team. Also Park Management has confirmed that, all projects will be completed but did not give a time frame.
Bingo will be starting on Tuesday September 15th at 6:45 pm and will continue every Tuesday until further notice. Please come, join us. If you have trouble keeping up, bring a Highlighter Pen and someone will help you. This year we will be playing a “Winner Take All” which could be a really nice money pot depending on the number of players. Come out and join us, you might enjoy yourself. Annette and Lynne
Please be cautious on the roads in the park. The pot holes cannot be repaired until the rain stops and the ground dries up. Please drive around the pot holes and damaged parts of the roadway. The General Meeting of the Association, which is normally held on the first Monday of the month will be held on the second Monday in September, the 14th due to Labor Day being on the first Monday. Eric Parker Scheduled Events for 2015 Labor Day Cook Out!!! FREE September 7th 3pm at the pool. Bring your food to grill, a dish to share, and your choice of beverage. Pot Luck Dinner and Dance - music by Bittersweet. Saturday September 26th dinner at 6pm, dance 7pm. The theme is International. Bring a dish from your heritage to share. Tickets are $7.00 get them from Judy, Connie or Susan. There will be door prizes. I know the Snow Birds will be coming back, hope to see you there.
FLU SHOTS Walgreens will again be coming to Grand Valley to provide flu shots, high dose flu shots and pneumonia shots on Tuesday, November 10th at 10am. Shingle shots will be available with prior notice. A sign-up sheet is in the clubhouse to give Walgreens a count so they have enough immunizations. You’ll need a picture ID and your insurance cards. The flu shot is paid for by Medicare. Ladies Lunch We had a wonderful lunch at the Lucky Dill Restaurant This month’s lunch will be at the Tarpon Turtle on September 8th at 1:00pm, which is located on Lake Tarpon in Tarpon Springs. Hope everyone will try to attend. Lunch is fun and a great way to meet your neighbors. I hope all new residents will try to join us. If anyone needs a ride please call me.
