The Board of Directors have decided to ask the association members to decide if the candidates should be elected to the board by ballot vote or by acclamation. (ac·cla·ma·tion as defined by Merriam Webster dictionary: noun \ˌa-kləә-ˈmā-shəәn\ • strong and enthusiastic approval or praise • a vote to accept or approve someone or something that is done by cheers, shouts, or applause) Either way a quorum is necessary. Therefore we need to have a total count of 115 association members either in person or by a proxy vote. If voting by proxy, still vote for the candidates you want on the board. A hand volt on November 3rd will determine whether the candidates will be placed on the board by acclamation of by ballot vote. Any questions lease call Bob Pickles @ 727-815-8730
A Reminder for the Upcoming November 3, 2014 Election of Directors Any resident that needs a limited proxy to vote because they won’t be here for the November election can contact Beverly Murphy, Secretary, @ 236-2859 and she will be glad to get one to you. Sign and date your limited proxy and vote for 1, 2, or 3 candidate(s) of your choice on the ballot. (DO NOT vote for more than 4 names on the ballot.) Return the limited proxy ballot and ballot to Beverly Murphy, put it in the locked box in the clubhouse by 5 PM on Saturday, November 1, 2014, or give it to a member of the election committee. Be sure to sign the back of the envelope. We urge all members to attend the meeting or obtain a proxy so we can have a quorum which is needed to go forward with the election. The proxies will be available after the October 6, 2014 meeting. Your election committee members consists of the following residents: Bob Pickles, Les Baker, Frank Parnell, Rich LeLievre, Ed Nadeau, Susan Chafin, Jean & Mario Cellini.
