FROM THE PRESIDENT Happy summer to everyone, hope everybody is well. Clubhouse is progressing and hopefully be done soon. As soon as the CDC lifts the gathering restrictions we can get back to having events. There will be no general meeting in June. A friendly reminder to all, please slow down driving in park, we have a lot of bikers and walkers. As always look out for your neighbors, it just might be you who needs the help someday. MEMORIAL DAY COOKOUT Join us at 4pm on Monday May 25th to celebrate all those who bravely served our country. Hot dogs and chips provided. Bring your favorite beverage and if you desire, a dish to share. Bring your chair so we can still have distance. Working our way “back to normal”, let’s get together and still stay safe.

Do not put rent checks in the mailbox at the office. It is against the law. You can slip them under the door, mail them in, or bring them into the office during business hours. Monday—10am—3pm Tuesday—9am—5pm Wednesday– 9am-5pm Thursday-8:30am-4:30pm Friday-10am-3pm Anyone staying in your home for more than 30 days must be reported to the office and complete a background check. All dogs are to be kept indoors unless leashed with a human, NO TETHERING. Indoor cats ONLY.

Shuffling is back, just keeping our distance helping to ebb the COVID19. Come and join your neighbors for a fun game of shuffleboard. We meet each and every Friday at 9:30 am. Equipment is provided and we’ll “show you the ropes”, if you haven't played in the past.
Water aerobics returns on June 1st. Join us every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10am. Everyone welcome.

NO FEEDING WILDLIFE According to the National Wildlife Association IT IS AGAINST THE LAW TO FEED WILDLIFE OF ANY KIND. YOU COULD BE ARRESTED. Many animals die because humans feed them food not for their systems. If you stop feeding them, they will go elsewhere and find the food they should eat.

The Easter Bunny For many of us, Easter came and went like any other day. The days of coloring Easter eggs and hiding them in the yard among the flowers for our children and later in life our grandchildren to find, have long passed. Listening to their screams of “I found one”, of “there’s one” now seem so far away. We try to remember the many words that the children said, their happy shining faces of joy, an especially the joy it brought to us. An ordinary day turned into tears of joy for us through the thoughtful efforts of Bob Gainer. Our grandchildren happened to be with us this past Easter when the “Easter Bunny” arrived. Bob, you have out done yourself. The tears of joy you brought to our house will long be remembered. Dottie Brooks
