Hello, hope this finds all well with everyone. Hard to believe it is June already, time sure is flying by. We already have experienced the heat of the summer months. Please everyone remember to keep yourself hydrated during the heat of the day.

Just wanted to give everyone an update on the Acoustics for the clubhouse.

The committee and the Board met with Paul and Phil, they saw the presentation that was given at the monthly meeting. Paul liked it and gave the okay to move forward with it. The order has been finalized and has been submitted. I did ask Paul for the management to help with the purchase. They have contributed $1,000.00 to the cause and the balance will be paid for from the RIF account. We will installed when they arrive.

The Emergency Prep Committee will be holding a meeting on Tues. June 4, at 7:00 pm in the clubhouse. We did meet last year around this time to pass on info that we had received. This year we will have a speaker, her name is Jerri Kaplan from Polk County Emergency Management. She will be giving a presentation and answering any questions you may have. Please plan to attend and get information needed for this storm season.

Shelly and I will be leaving June 8 for our vacation up north. We will be returning after July 4. If anyone needs anything from me, you can contact via phone or can contact Joyce Middleton.

If you see me out, feel free to stop me with any suggestions, comments or just to say hello.

Spring has come to Lake Hammock Village as we welcome our first set of Sandhill Crane babies. This is one of my favorite times of the year.

BINGO DESSERTS During the summer months we are cutting down our desserts to two a week.

We need bakers for Monday night Bingo.
