Left-Handers’ Day August 13th

N

o one has come up with a definitive reason WHY some people are left-handed, but about 13% of all the people in the world are. If you consider yourself entirely left-handed or entirely right-handed, take this simple test to see if that is really true. ÊImagine the center of your back is itching. Which hand scratches? ËStart clapping your hands. Which hand is uppermost? ÌPut your hands behind your back, one holding the other. Which hand is doing the holding? ÍCount to three on your fingers, using the forefinger of the other hand. Which forefinger did you use? ÎInterlock your fingers. Which thumb is uppermost? ÏFold your arms. Which forearm is uppermost? ÐSomeone in front of you is speaking softly. Cup your ear to hear better. Which ear do you cup? ÑWink at an imaginary friend straight in front of you. Which eye does the winking? By taking this test you probably discovered that your body is less than total in its devotion to its favored side. And if you’re right-handed, you probably weren’t right all 8 times. www.left-handersday.com
