The Gator Tales

The Unofficial Newsletter of Lake Hammock Village David Schnopp Editor PRESIDENT’S CORNER We are at the end of another winter and some of the residents will be returning back north for the summer. It is our hope that they have a safe trip back to their homes and that we will see them next winter. Maybe this summer, the full time folks will enjoy a cooler summer. It is possible that there may be changes in the near future. One note. Someone gave out the code to our clubhouse to a lawn care person. Please, for our own safety, do not give this information out to non residents.

Page # 3 ACTIVITIES REPORT

By now, RT 27 is less crowded, we can find parking spaces at Wal Mart, and most of our winter residents have returned to their northern homes. On 4/4 a 50's Farewell was held and all seemed to enjoy Elvis and pizza. If you'd like a similar social event, gather needed information and present it to the activities committee which usually meets the first Sat. of each month following the ALL-PARK BREAKFAST. (This month's is slated for the 2nd.) Our regular scheduled meetings and game nights continue as listed on the calendar. The popular MEN'S BREAKFASTS are still held on the 1st(7th) and 3rd(21st) Thursdays at 8a.m. Ladies will visit a new restaurant, ZEN, at Posner's mall on Friday (5/8) carpooling at 11:30. R-Eatery plays host to our BREAKFAST OUT on Saturday (5/16) beginning at 8:15. A MOVIE is scheduled for Sunday (5/17) at 7p.m. Come and see what feature is being shown. Tuesday (5/19) will have us gathering at 4:30 for a ride down Rt 27 to enjoy EARLY DINING OUT at Sizzling Grill. The last event schedule for this month will be an ALL-AMERICAN POT LUCK on Tuesday (5/26) at 6p.m. to honor the RED, WHITE, and BLUE. Will you act as hosts ??????????
