Established in 1923, Frank L. Blum Construction Company has been a trusted building partner to owners across North Carolina for generations. The 100-year-old firm has a solid reputation for partnering with the most exacting owners and excelling at the most complex projects. Many iconic and beloved buildings bear the Blum Construction imprint of fine craftsmanship on the original structure or its subsequent renovation or restoration.

The organization’s beginnings were humble. When Frank Blum founded his company, he listed just a few assets, including a Ford automobile, two concrete mixers, one team of mules, and a wagon and harness. Growing throughout the challenges of the 1930s and 1940s, the company overcame Mr. Blum’s death in 1954. Employees rallied to carry on the Blum tradition of excellence. A new generation of leaders would carry the company through a new era and position it to become one of the most stable and respected businesses in North Carolina.

Blum’s team of partners is now leading their expansion throughout North Carolina and beyond, and is ready to take Blum Construction through its next 100 years.
