Participant Pack

All participants can collect their pack on site.

No more packs will be sent by mail.

Participants registered before March 24 will receive a confirmation email at the latest one week before the event, containing a personal start number. With this number, they can collect their participant pack on site.

Participants registered from March 24 onwards will receive an e-ticket upon registration and can use it to collect their participant pack.

Would you like to collect the participant pack for someone else?

This is only possible on presentation of their confirmation email containing the start number or e-ticket.

Participant pack contents:

• Frame plate

• Frame sticker

• Gobik windstopper voucher. The windstopper can be collected from the booth at the Qubus, Oudenaarde.

• Voucher for T-shirt if ordered in advance. You can collect this from the T-shirt booth at the Qubus, Oudenaarde.

Friday 3 April

10 a.m. –

7 p.m.: Collect participant pack (all distances) Qubus, Lindestraat, Oudenaarde.

Saturday 4 April

As of 6 a.m.: Collect participant pack (247 km) Gerlachekaai 7, Antwerp. As of 6.30 a.m.: Collect participant pack (163, 133 and 79 km) Qubus, Lindestraat, Oudenaarde.

Minderbroederstraat, Oudenaarde (= Finish Tour of Flanders for pros).

The last supply station closes at 7 p.m. The finish in Oudenaarde closes at 8p.m.

Practical Info

• Showers, changing rooms and a bag drop area can be found in the car park at the back of the Qubus in Oudenaarde.

• You have paid a €10 deposit for the frame plate. After the ride, you can return your frame at Qubus and choose from a 226ers package*, a T-shirt* or €10.

*Available while supplies last.

!IMPORTANT! Never leave your bike unattended, use the guarded bike park in Oudenaarde and Antwerp. Unfortunately, there are people with bad intentions hanging around and bikes are stolen every year.

Frame Plate

IMPORTANT:

It is mandatory to attach the frame plate in a visible place on the front of your bike's handlebars. This is your official proof of participation and entitles you to supplies.

Highway Code

Respect the highway code and environment!

• The organisation and police will see to it that cyclists respect the highway code.

Please follow the traffic rules, do not litter, or urinate in public.

• Stop at a railroad crossing when the light is red! This is strictly controlled by the police.

• Follow the instructions of the stewards posted at busy crossings.

• Bike lights are mandatory!

• Support cars are not allowed on the course.

2. Change your distance at the 'change of name / distance' desk. A distance change is free of charge.

1. Collect the participant pack with the confirmation email of the person whose registration you are taking over.

2. Change the details at the 'change of name / distance' desk.

Don't forget to bring your ID. A €5 administration fee will be charged on site for any name changes.

Technical Assistance & Belongings

Technical assistance

There will be mechanics at the start in Oudenaarde and Antwerp and along the course by the supply stations.

Bring cash to pay for parts, if necessary.

Transport of belongings

Participants cycling 247 km will have the opportunity to drop off a small sports bag in Antwerp, between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. The van carrying these bags will stop at the supply station in Velzeke* and then continue to Qubus in Oudenaarde.

* The sports bags site is located approximately 250 m from the supply station. Please follow the on-site signage.

Supply Stations

Extensive supplies will be provided along the route offering sweet and savoury

LIDL biscuits, LIDL fruit, water, 226ERS sports drinks and 226ERS sports nutrition.

Below is an overview of the number of supplies for each distance:

79 km: 2 supply stations

133 km: 3 supply stations

163 km: 4 supply stations

247 km: 5 supply stations

226ERS provides sports drinks, energy bars and energy gels at the supply stations. You can find the full range and product info here.

FOODMAKER provides pasta at the Geraardsbergen supply station (247 km & 163 km) and sandwiches at the Velzeke supply station (247 km, 163 km & 133 km).

WIEZE: Schrovestraat 22A – 9280 Lebbeke (247 km)

Timing : 8.15 a.m. – 11.15 a.m.

VELZEKE: Penitentenlaan 7 – 9620 Zottegem (247, 163 & 133 km)

Timing : 7.45 a.m. – 1.45 p.m.

GERAARDSBERGEN: Driepikkel 2 – 9500 Geraardsbergen (247 & 163 km)

Timing : 8.45 a.m. – 3.30 p.m.

OUDENAARDE: Meersbloem-Melden 42 – 9700 Oudenaarde (all distances)

Timing : 7.45 a.m. – 5.45 p.m.

RONSE: Stefaan-Modest Glorieuxlaan 50 – 9600 Ronse (all distances)

Timing : 8.30 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Shuttle

There is a shuttle service (bus transport with bike trailer) provided for participants starting in Antwerp (247 km) between Oudenaarde and Antwerp. This had to be booked in advance at the time of registration.

The shuttle runs at 5.15 a.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. from Oudenaarde to Antwerp.

The final destination of the 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. shuttles is the bus parking (D’Herbouvillekaai, 2020 Antwerp).

If you booked the shuttle when you registered, you will receive a confirmation email one week beforehand. Be sure to bring it with you.

Car Parks & Accessibility OUDENAARDE

The Qubus and surrounding streets will not be accessible by car on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 April. The organisation provides sufficient parking facilities nearby.

Important: Each car park has a certain colour, remember which car park you parked your car in.

Tip: When you arrive, take a picture of the car park sign at the entrance.

Kiss & Ride zone (Fietelstraat), maximum stay 2 minutes. Access via Graaf van Landastraat 57, 9700 Oudenaarde (follow the signs).

ANTWERP

Participants who leave their car in Antwerp for the entire day are advised to use a nearby paid parking facility:

• Parking Indigo Zuiderplein

• Q-Park Steendok

Kiss & Ride zone at Ledeganckkaai, between Van Der Sweepstraat and Michel de Braeystraat, on both sides of the road.

Access between 5 a.m. and 8 a.m. via: Ledeganckkaai 7, 2000 Antwerp

Opening hours:

You can collect your Gobik windstopper there and return your frame plate after the ride. You can also visit the various expo stands.
