GRASSROOTS MEMBERS TRAVEL TO NATION’S CAPITAL

Florida Farm Bureau members from across the state visited Washington, D.C. for the annual Field to the Hill advocacy trip, May 14-16.
Members visited with the Florida Congressional delegation to discuss federal policy issues such as hurricane disaster relief for the
Panhandle, water quality in South Florida, trade policy reform, the Farm Bill and agricultural labor.
Volunteer leaders attended an advocacy training, a Florida Agriculture Global Partners Reception at the Embassy of Canada and visited with U.S. Department of Agriculture officials.

Darren Soto.
