Azura Sawada Light Rod model range includes seven spinning rods united by a common idea, namely – to provide the highest level of sensitivity and comfort, first of all, for jigging.

The tip top wrap is made lime green to ensure more visual control over the tip.

The ergonomic Fuji IPS reel seat with a turned nut allows you to effortlessly place your index finger on the blank since there is graphite arbor directly under the handle, and this feature brings Sawada Light Rod sensitivity at least one level above the majority of its competitors.

Each of seven spinning rods in Azura Fortran series was created for specific angling conditions, however, that particular range is one of the most versatile. The task was to meet the angler community demand: an inexpensive spinning rod for all lure types with perfect sensitivity and casting ability. It was not easy to outcompete the previous generation, but despite all difficulties and numerous improvements, it worked out.

The blank is made of high-modulus Torayca® M46J carbon, with its larger part being reinforced with additional cross-shaped X8 wrap. It has allowed to strengthen the butt and to add power for fighting serious trophies.

Special attention should be paid to the guide map, with light titanium guides evenly distributing the load throughout the blank length. Full graphite IPS reel seat has long been considered one of the most successful solutions in the world of spinning rods.

Let us begin with decoding the abbreviation – XP means “Extra power”. These letters mark out separate powerful models within rod ranges. Given that for the last two years most anglers have been mainly practicing shore fishing, there is a need in a separate model range of extra-powerful spinning rods for angling trophy fish on large water bodies.

XP series is a response to the request of customers who needed more cost-saving version of Sawada XP. By the way, speaking of Sawada XP, the first common feature between these model ranges is Torayca® M40X blank material. And the second common feature is of course the ideology. We are talking about catching fish of really trophy size under harsh conditions. As far as action is concerned, the entire model range is primarily distinguished by great casting ability. The blanks are perfectly loaded and save efforts significantly during long and exhausting angling with heavy lures. Moreover, these spinning rods have Fuji VSS reel seats with ergonomic foregrip, and WeBo guides are light and durable at the same time.

Conceptually all blanks have retained their informative tip, medium-stiff middle part and stiff butt part. However in this generation the engineers and designers managed to achieve a smoother flexing curve and to increase both the blank information capacity and the overall reliability on critical angles. As regards the handle, the lightest models are equipped with WeBo DPS reel seat analogue on a carbon tube, assembled on graphite arbor. The light models are equipped with classic IPS by the same WeBo. The guides are the best option in their price range, also by WeBo. Thus, the new generation has become much lighter and gained in sensitivity without losing in reliability. Vesta X-Nano series is a logical extension of Azura nano-rod range. There were the highclass X-Game Nano, the cost-saving Olivia Nano, so an urgent need arose in filling the mid-budget segment niche.

The blanks are made with using Torayca® M40X material. In their action the blanks have a lot of common with X-Game Nano, but with less marked stiffness in the middle and butt part, which makes it possible to perform amplitude animations in pelagic zone without excessive efforts. At the same time the blank stiffness is sufficient for confident operation in the near-bottom layer as well. The handle has a lot of features in common with X-Game Nano and provides the highest sensitivity with minimal weight. The rod is equipped with Fuji DPS reel seat. The running guides and the tip top guide are Fuji Titanium Sic-S, and the rest are WeBo with inserts, analogous to Torzite. It has allowed to significantly reduce the rod tip weight without its cost rising noticeably.

It is a kind of reincarnation of Kinetik series, well-known among our old fans.

The blanks are made with using Torayca® M40J materials. WeBo accessories are time-tested.

The handle is ergonomic and comfortable for a hand of any size.

Kinetik is nothing else but a specimen of a rather cost-saving rod in a modern design. It will be great both for beginners and experienced anglers who for some or other reason are not ready to spend extra costs for purchasing high-class rods. Quite a responsive tip is a special feature pertaining to all rods in this model range, and the middle part and the butt are of medium stiffness.

This series has one more interesting property. In static condition the rods seem rather stiff, however at the moment of casting you will instantly feel that the entire blank has a wonderful action, which is very important during longtime angling. So, you will not have to apply additional force during casting. The same feature of Kinetic spinning rods is also helpful during pike or asp playing. When used by beginners, the rod perfectly compensates for the absence of experience and reduces the number of annoying losses.
