A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Dear Flagler Students,

Welcome to another great year at Flagler College! At Flagler you will encounter a plethora of opportunities to engage with each other, the campus, your faculty, and the community – particularly by joining the many student-run clubs and organizations designed to help you cultivate your passions and friendships.

It is my hope you will make the most of your time here at Flagler and take advantage of our unique campus. Frankly, joining something, anything—is a great way to bond with the campus. Such engagement inevitably means better success, better grades, better happiness.

At Flagler College, our aim is to provide you with a transformative academic experience coupled with a vibrant campus life, all rooted in our Core Values which revolve around citizenship, integrity, respectfulness, inclusivity, transformative learning and stewardship.

I challenge you to learn how each and every one of you can embody these core values in your everyday lives, as they are what guides us as an institution and a community, and indeed what distinguishes us from our peers.

In the Student Handbook you will find information about the many support services, organizations, and activities provided by the College. You will also find information about the College’s policies, rules, and regulations. Please read this publication carefully and use it as a source of reference during your college career.

Flagler College is special – not just because of our historic campus and beautiful city – it’s because of our faculty, staff, and, most importantly, our students. You are what makes Flagler what it is and will be. I hope you have a fantastic year!
