PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE Dear Flagler Family, The close of this fiscal year marked an extraordinary milestone for our College with the successful conclusion of Flagler Forward: The Campaign for Flagler College. Together, we exceeded our most ambitious goals, and your generosity has strengthened the people, places, and programs that will shape generations of Saints to come. The impact of your giving is already evident across campus, including at the Pollard Tennis Center. There, donor support gave our men’s tennis team a first-class facility to train and prepare for the historic season that culminated in the program’s first NCAA national title. We also fully funded and endowed seven of our eight Alumni Chapter Scholarships, a remarkable achievement that reflects the generosity and enduring commitment of our alumni community. In addition, we welcomed Erin Brockovich as our Fall History Maker in Residence, giving students the opportunity to engage with one of the nation's leading advocates for environmental justice and civic leadership. This year’s Annual Report and Honor Roll recognizes the donors who made these accomplishments possible and provides a concise look at the past fiscal year. To fully capture the impact of Flagler Forward, we will present the campaign’s complete story in a dedicated October publication. MEN'S TENNIS NATIONAL CHAMPIONS Flagler’s Men’s Tennis team achieved a historic milestone by capturing the program’s first NCAA Division II National Championship and third national title overall with a close 4-3 victory over previously undefeated and top-seeded Barry University. The sixth-seeded Saints finished the season 24-4, defeated the nation’s No. 1 and No. 2 ranked teams on back-to-back days, and ended a 23-match losing streak against Barry that dated back to 1994. The championship was secured by Aly El Rafie’s dramatic three-set victory in the deciding match, while key performances from Aniss Rafiq, Simon Malis, and the doubles teams helped power the Saints to the title. Under the leadership of head coach Jonas Piibor, the team’s resilience, hard work, and determination culminated in a landmark achievement that followed last year’s national runner-up finish and established one of the greatest seasons in program history.

The endowed Craig and Audrey Thorn Distinguished Professorship of Religion allows me the opportunity to support student research projects, raise student participation in study abroad programs, and create opportunities to share my work in public and professional forums. By learning the art and craft of research, editorial input, and publication, student names have appeared in the footnotes of peer-reviewed articles and in numerous academic publications. I am continually humbled by the fact that Craig and Audrey Thorn so trusted Flagler College that they created an endowment without even knowing how their hard-earned inheritance would be utilized. BUSINESS WEEK - LION'S CAGE Each year, donor support enables the College to host Business Week, which culminates with a Shark Tank-style competition called Lion’s Cage. This year’s winners—seniors Jesse Van Krimpen and Reiss Skeen—developed FocusTap, an education technology platform designed to help institutions measure and encourage participation in the classroom. This year, the winning team received a $5,000 grand prize sponsored by Stellar to be used as seed funding for their innovative solution.
