T

his Christmas brings a special treat as an alignment of planets brings forward news of change and celebration for millions. From the 11th December to the 21st of December, thousands and millions of stargazers will witness the return of alignment which hasn't been seen for over 800 years. The alignment is especially special for stargazers and astrologers as it can be seen visibly on the 21st December 2020, which is traditionally celebrated by pagans as the shortest day of the year - the winter solstice. It's appearance on this day is extremely important for many who take an avid interest in this area, especially during the Christmas holiday time and also New's Year's Eve and New Year's Day, leading us to 2021. On the exact date of the 21st December 2020 both Jupiter and Saturn will cross paths, which from far away will appear to look like one star. It is said that the two star crossed planets will look like one star, and then seem to drift apart just in time for Christmas. The last time an alignment like this was anticipated was during the birth of Jesus, and many package the experience of seeking the star, similar to actually experiencing the re-living and re-enactment of the Nativity play, were a sparkling star foretold the birth of Jesus. This year we should take stock of the past, and re-live precious moments so we can learn from them. As 2021 looms we know we are at the start of a new era. HAPPY HOLIDAYS& A FESTIVE SPIRIT!

40 Under neat h t he mist let oe! A few special Chr ist mas st or ies? . I was in the pub every evening after work with my laptop. Even during the coronavirus scare I was still in and out of the pub, it was like I was part of the furniture. Anyway, the barmaid understood she was alone and felt a pang of concern about me. She quietly ushered the staff away from time to time discussing my regular occurance in her pub, all alone she thought, quite concerned. She didn?t say anything to me, but I knew what she was thinking. Anyway, someone began to organise a Christmas party, and well my name was on the guest list, as they couldn?t remove me. More the merrier they thought, and pencilled my name on the guest list for a good laugh! When the day of the party arrived I was sitting alone working with my laptop, with a don?t mind me attitude. They began preparing the party, setting up decorations, and organising drinks! They introduced me to the party list, and by the end of the night I was kissed underneath the mistletoe about 5 times!

I was walking through a busy Christmas shopping trip one day when a tall, dark handsome stranger approached me. I thought it was my lucky day. He stared at me blankly for a few seconds and asked me to move position as his wife and children wanted to get through the door. He had a beautiful wife handling 5 children so he knew I would understand. As he managed to get his wife and children through the Christmas rush another handsome man was smiling at me, with a cheeky monkey smile. Targeting the competition that just nearly humiliated me, he took his chance. He said something witty and charming about the experience and I began to laugh. He gave me his number and asked me to come to a more humbler affair where the guys were lesstall, andlesshandsome. He wishes I thought, he just blew his chances in more ways than he thinks, and I wasn?t looking for love! Not from him anyway! He heard what I was saying and looked shocked, as his wife took it in her stride and laughed, re-assuring him. Anyway, I called the ?shorter?guy a few days later and he invited me to a Friday night party. He never forgot the affair and kissed me underneath a giant mistletoe with all his friends applauding the incident. I?m sure the tall Supermodel guy in the shopping centre was reeling at what happened, but I felt happy that his wife was re-assuring him, and his conceit was?a laughing stock?somewhere else.

I was always the naughty girl at School, even more strange was that I was also a simple Asian girl. I was always sensibleat School but had a giggle and mischievious sense of humour, one which included everyone to join me and just have a laugh! On my way to the local store at lunchtime just before Christmas holiday?s I saw a pile of mistletoe near the till. I went to pay for my goods and the manager at the store followed me to inspect the ?joke of the day?as the School children bustled in and out of the local shops at lunchtime. This time they seemed to hold some sort of esteem in their hearts for me, and ushered me to go and inspect and look more closely at the mistletoe. The School children began to laugh and ?wooo?at me, meaning they all stating the obvious in terms of the heart. I knew it wasn?t my affections, boyz were the last thing on my mind at School. For some reason I never found out about the ?secret admirer? who they were referring to, when they saw me glance at the mistletoe, and I suppose I will never find out either. My choice in friends at School made that impossible, but of course they would both mutter something with themselves and pretend they were happy for me! I will never find out who fancied me at High School.

scent of a woman Dusky dark pink, smoky black and ivor y white combine well this winter helping you absorb the atmosphere this Chr istmas...buy, buy. buy!

Per fumes make the world go round. They come in many var ieties and different styles to suit different moods, per sonalities and different types of women. They suit cer tain seasons too, with additions to the scents dependant on what time of year it is. Spr ing has lighter scents and fresh smelling notes, with use of light fr uity and citr us scents which exhilar ate and excite the wearer, whilst Winter per fumes have a war mer touch with heady notes and also soothing herbal extr acts too, to help car ve off disease and infections. Per fumes are essentially a mixture of fr agr ant essential oils or aroma compounds, the use of which has been documented for more than a few centur ies, with the last few breakthrough?s stemming from the Ancient Egyptians after handing over their knowledge to the industr ial revolution to what is now known as the moder n per fume industr y which is lucr ative as well as exclusive, putting a signature stamp on an industr y that helps define the moder n world. The most common, popular and natur al for m of per fume is from flower s and blossoms with the most famous use of flower s being the inclusion of rose essences in per fume and also that of Jasmine. Popular use of blossoms in per fume is the inclusion of scents from citr us plants and also the use of ylang, ylang. There is so much to choose from when shopping for per fumes and scents, with the most potent concentr ation of these distilled natur al aromas being found in none other than what is ter med as a ?par fum?. The word ?par fum?spells quality not just from the product type itself, but ever y step of production from inception to product positioning and market segmentation. Par fum contains anywhere from 15% - 40% fr agr ance, although in ter ms of concentr ation and it?s r atio a ?par fum? will have 30% - 40% for most par fums, which leave you smelling beautiful for upto 7- 8 hour s. They are also gener ally more expensive within the per fume sector, with a bottle of pure Poison from DIOR selling at approximately over one hundred pounds. Eau de par fum is the next one to rely on in ter ms of quality, with the highest regard from the industr y and also other reviews. It also lasts for about 4- 5 hour s, and has a high concentr ation of real per fume, and also less alchohol. Eau de fr aiche is a new addition to the industr y with small degree of real per fume and par fum in the mix, and much less alchohol. It consists of a small amount of fr agr ances, essential oils or aroma compounds and relies mainly on the use of fresh water to car r y fr agr ances and scents. Eau Fr aiche tr anslates roughly to mean fresh water or water fresh. It is a product which is like scented water, and their respective products are quite popular. A great example of Eau Fr aiche is CHANEL's - CHANCE which comes in a selection of different var ieties. They are light smelling, and extremely pure with use of pure fr agr ances and citr us smelling notes. CHANEL's choice to create a ser ies of per fumes using EAU FRAICHE instead of EAU DE PARFUM was a distinct move, giving real quality to the product type and most of all longevity in ter ms of product deliver ance and also product quality. With CHANEL taking control of the per fume sub- categor y there is great exper tise handling the potential colossus.

Per fume composition or what is known as the act of per fumer y is defined by people within the industr y who are known as ?the nez?a French ter m which affectionately names the ?per fumer ? as the ?nose?in char ge, the per son who makes a decision on what per fumes are to be sold and worked upon, making each br and of per fume still extremely special. Rose smelling per fumes which are heady yet still spr ingy and fresh smelling are extremely popular and ver satile. They are per fect for an impor tant event, night out or even for work or shopping in the day time. Some of the most popular rose smelling per fumes are Miss Dior, Ver sace Diamonds in Br ight Cr ystal for a fresher smelling rose fr agr ance or Ver sace Diamond in Cr ystal Noir for a deeper, heady and more mesmer ising slant on the smell of a deep rose for the pur poses of per fume. Pure Poison created by .Chr istian Dior too is another moder n classic, and can become a signature scent for many women, if wor n cor rectly. The super per fume costs just over one hundred pounds for a bottle, and is made up of spr ingy and fresh melon scents, hints of vanilla and white musk and a deep pur ple rose which changes it?s essence from a light rose allure to a deeper more absorbing and war m scent. With dark pink and deep pur ple packaging and a relatively expensive pr ice within stores such as Selfr idges and House of Fr aser, this Eau de Par fum stands the test of time ? two decades in fact. The shy Eau de Par fum, hides behind bigger ostentatious attempts, but they are pale in compar ison as the Eau de Par fum has an extremely well known predecessor. The per fume caused a stor m within the press and per fume industr y, and become one of the most sought after per fumes dur ing the late 1980?s. Per fumes are gener ally categor ised in a way that most people under stand, and identify with. They under stand the type of per fumes they like, and what categor y they belong too, from there they can ascer tain which per fumes will suit their lifestyle and preferences. An example of this would be looking at some of the classifications of per fumes in ter ms of gener al scent. Per fumes are mainly categor ised in the following way - flor al, or iental, woody and fresh. Flor al based per fumes have usually a rose scent, or another flower such as Lily, Jasmine or Lavender. Or ange blossom flower s in per fumes are also ver y moder n and quite popular. They tend to be slightly mature but also youthful, have a war mer scent and a deeper allure, as if the per fume lengthens as you blend it with your skin, the same way a good quality rose smells with plenty of depth. Another main categor y of per fumes would be Or iental per fume types. These have been in production for centur ies, and a respected and delicate par t of their her itage and culture. This is evident in Or iental culture in their rever ance of nur tur ing and growing flower s, especially in some of the most respected and esteemed Chinese gardens. These types of per fume can be found to use ingredients such as Vanilla, the lotus flower, cinnamon, cedar wood, and citr us based oils. Woodier per fumes use simple ingredients and rely on white musk, sandalwood amongst other s. The other main categor y would be fresh smelling per fumes which also have a huge amount of white musk, citr us oils, melon and cedar wood. These per fumes are uplifting, light, air y and also extremely vibr ant and fresh smelling.

BLACK DESERT COBRA Why 'deser ting' your loved ones may come back to bite you at a fatal cost, as jealousy can tur n from green to black. Wr itten by Ms Faiza Mir za

Black deser t cobr a ? Why jealousy and envy is tur ning back to black... We used to call them green eyed devils, outcasting them from society and shunning their ?ways?. If left untreated many precious green medicines and remedies in life can simply tur n black, and as the world sees the Coronavir us pandemic spread and lead people to their deaths, you can star t questioning what type of other black plagues can eclipse the hear t in this way. This is always the case when people are bored and spare time on their hands like exper iencing lock down. Ignored jealousy is like that, if left alone it can tur n dark, ver y dark. It?s the status quo to shun and block feelings like this, which can lead to deep disappointment for many, and even feelings of darkness that lead ultimately to a death like state. That?s why images of mascar a smudged Super models often indicates ser ious troubles in par adise, which have not been detected, and simply left the vuner able per son relying on the strength and reliability of tr usting the macabre and only the dark, which can guar antee a solution and end to their emotional pain, through suicide and other for ms of symbolic death. Sounds cr azy but its tr ue, that a penchant for black mascar a and black nail var nish maybe not just a cr y for help, but also a solution to their problems, and option which guar antees and end to their volatile, or over emotional state, or simply ser ious for ms of vuner ability, especially when the world sees you as a leader in any way. You don?t under stand? When people feel insecure or sense of deep infer ior ity they look for a solution, this may be subconsciously or consciously. Some people seek fr iendship with loyal fr iends and a kind word or more, some people realise those fr iends aren?t good enough. Other s may not have that chance, and may realise they are emotionally isolated and ostr acised completely, or maybe their warbling fr iends can?t under stand how they feel, and can?t give them any advice. The thought of holding a bottle of black nail var nish offer s a deadly solution which is akin to dr inking a bottle of black poison. It?s a gateway open to thoughts of deep depression, despondency and if left alone can lead thoughts of suicide which may be at fir st an attention seeking move. Those thoughts could eventually tur n real, real plans to commit suicide and a solution to ending pain for at least a shor t while. If black is the colour of death and potential danger then there is much to take notice of, if we can muster up the ener gy, especially when people don?t speak up. They maybe more power ful than you thought, and in their deep depressive thoughts, the wor st one being suicide they may hold the balance of power more than you could imagine and influence events around them, but at a fatal cost, playing suicidal Solitaire with their own lives. Think about this dur ing the Happy Holiday's per iod, as it can get extremely lonely for some, and not for other s.

FAIRY LIGHTS

Uplifting stories which will make you believe in fairies all over again....

I was walking through the local town centre doing a spot of shopping. I wasn?t looking for anything in par ticular, just something that was good value for money, or maybe spend a bit more than usual. A beautiful ivor y and silver belt caught my eye. It was completely stylish, but a bit too much for me, as I was quite a conser vative dresser and shopper. Anyway, the belt wouldn?t leave my mind, it was still sparkling and glitter ing in my memor y, and I couldn?t help walk past the market stall which was selling handmade goods. I had never seen anything like it in my life. This was before you could buy fair y lights on ever y street cor ner. I eventually gave in, and bought the belt with tiny fair y cr ystals, and silver beads and white r ibbons. That Chr istmas the shops were filled with fair y lights, and I felt s happy I wasn?t alone in loving this new style. The Chr istmas lights ever ywhere were tiny fair y lights, with silver shines and white r ibbony light! I felt at peace that for one in my life, I had made the r ight choice, and more than one per son felt the same. It?s like a fair y whispered me to buy the belt, as it was going to be ever ywhere and luckily I didn?t miss out. Now I always love fair ies and fair y lights!

I was creating some dr inks at home, some milkshakes and suddenly had a feeling to create something white and milky. I wanted something malty tasting but also extremely sweet. I found some special sugar syr up in a specialist store and quickly went to the till. I had a feeling to quickly buy the product and r ush home and somehow include it in one of my milkshake recipes. I managed to find some more special ingredients, stuff you couldn?t buy in nor mal stores. What I had created was per fect for me, and didn?t unsettle my stomach. It was quite pr incess too, and per fect to dr ink. I fell into a deep sleep and dreamt about a fair y, who poured the dr ink for me again in a cr ystal glass, topped with cream and froth as I sat in the gardens of a castle which was covered in snow. I knew my dr ink was amazing, as it had sentimental value for me. I took my dr ink to a fr iends house and asked around if I could tur n it into a business. Since then I have had millions of customer s, and a secret dr ink which was ser ved by fair ies for a pr incess like me.

I was with my gr andparents and left my parents at home dur ing the Chr istmas holidays. My nephews and nieces were playing with some Chr istmas toys. We all began to decor ate a Chr istmas tree we had all bought together. Ever yone decided to top the tree with a cr ystal fluffy fair y. As we were happily decor ating the tree, we began to think of other s and my parents home came into my mind., I felt a pang of dread and decided to give them a quick call to see if ever ything was ok, it was as if the fair y light was making me sense this. I was r ight, my parents had a visit from one of my youngest cousins who suffered from a r are disease. We quickly r ushed back home and took her to hospital, where only a few doctor s could help her. They had to be r ushed in from different cities and treat her r are condition carefully. Luckily she is in good health, and if a fair y light hadn?t ur ged me to call home, her health may have deter ior ated for the wor se, and she may have never found a cure.

W h y for ci n g sh y peopl e t o si m pl y sn ap out of i t m ay be doi n g m ore h ar m t h an good. Wri t t en by Fai za M i rza

Being shy is a heaven and hell for people who exper ience this type of angst and anxiety problem. It means their main for m of communication, the one ever yone takes for gr anted is stumped sometimes. Sometimes it is more complicated, and could be that the per son exper iencing shyness just simply isn?t at ease with the world, and feels something like the world just isn?t pure enough. They don?t speak up, miss out on events, days out and sometimes even making fr iends. Telling them to snap out if it and simply cheer up is not a good idea either, as it forces them into a cor ner which they like. Like a little alcove where they can hide and no one will find them, Shy people often spend time alone, and like being on their own. It can be a for m of heaven when the whole world is screaming and shouting, a quiet place of sanctuar y where no one can har m them and they can take things at their own pace. The world seems to think that the shy per son is missing out too, an obnoxious and cold hear ted way of passing them off. Shy people are usually the exact opposite with a reser ve of emotions which they tap into when people aren?t looking. When a shy per son is alone, and the world can?t see them anymore they may just feel a sense of release and relief. The constant speculation about their looks, the way they dress and their manner isms maybe too much for them, and the thought of not having another per son analyse them may be a for m of heaven for many. It may be also that they scr utinise ever ything themselves with acute detail, sometimes their own enemy. They can over analyse things themselves and may have a cr itical eye for ever ything they do themselves, and when you judge them they may feel uncomfor table as they fear you may judge them as severely as they judge and see themselves. Psychologists ar gue that shyness is a tendancy to feel awkward, wor r ied or tense dur ing times of social inter action when we have to mingle with each other. Although this is tr ue the ter n shyness is not something for a Psychologist, but shyness can be classed loosely under neath the ter m anti- social behaviour. Anti- social behaviour ? Well, anyway. This maybe at work, education or dur ing events or par ties. The shy per son may feel they have symptoms such a sweaty palms, a faster hear tbeat, feeling flushed at the cheeks, unable to breathe with ease and a feeling of panic when in a given situation where they feel shy. They class it as a social phobia, but also as a real phobia of people, in the way someone feels uneasy when climbing stair s of a high building if they suffer from ver tigo. Some people are so shy that they can?t inter act with people, even in a situation where they are forced to co- erce and mingle with people such as School, or work. The biggest indicator of there being a problem would be exper ienced and detected when at School, as we are forced to attend School on a full time basis until the age of 16. This is the best time to help someone who feels so shy they can?t speak to other s or make fr iends, as it is a compulsor y par t of life and an area where a solution has to be found. Telling someone to snap out of it later in life, may simply not suffice, as the shy per son may feel let down by School, where it was their responsibility to find out, in order for the child to attend School properly and get a fair chance in life. Being let down by parents and Teacher s at this age may cause problems and blockages later, which can be hard to untangle, as the per son has been let down by the education system and close family ver y badly. Once bitten, twice shy. A Psychologists couch later on may not be a good idea either, and may not work. Psychology too, doesn?t accept it as a real ailment or problem, such as they would ter m and treat a Schizophrenic or someone who was suffer ing from delusional thinking. Even a narcissist has a better time than someone shy, and if you believe that Johnny Depp is secretly dating you, and is sending you signals through the press, well society will open up their ar ms to you in more ways than an established or ver ified Psychological model, or an already set up ?schema or scr ipt?from one of your cr azy fr iends you haven?t met yet, whose inter nal monologue feels that Johnny Depp fancies her too. Wor st still is the r isk of getting an ASBO as shyness can be classified by the police as anti- social behaviour, and so can Psychology, where a shy per son may tur n for help. So there?s no label or classification for being shy on a Psychologists couch. No, but there is a reassur ance that they can go through other possible ?explanation and ter ms?such as you being classed not as someone mentally ill but as someone not willing to co- oper ate with the world. This really is tr ue. If not an ASBO then someone we may have to class as something else which doesn?t really hit the mark. We could tr y saying you have a social phobia the way someone scared of Spider s is classed as an Ar achnophobiac. A spider has more clout stuck on a Deser t Island as they know what treatments they can take with them, as well as fellow fr iends who are already aware of their symptoms and have jokes on cue too.

'Psychology too, doesn?t accept it as a real ailment or problem, such as they would ter m and treat a Schizophrenic or someone who was suffer ing from delusional thinking. Even a narcissist has a better time than someone shy,'

ANGELS Do you believe in An gels? Yes or No?

Faiza Mirza contemplatesthemeaning of life....

Do you believe in Angels? Existence of angels is not a case of belief, as if we knew an angel was in existence and could prove it then it would be fact, and not a case of needing to believe it was real, that it was in existence or not. Believing in Angels is relative to our respective cultures and religions, but later on in life it may be due to the fact that you were nur tured into this belief by your parents, your religious institution or other close member s of your family or maybe even an exper ience in childhood ? good or bad. Even more bizar re would be that an Angel spoke to you themselves, or perhaps the devil coaxed you into believing or not believing in Angels ? depending on how he wants to sway you away from god. That one we can really believe, that the devils main pur pose is to sway us from God. Most monotheistic religions believe that was the precur sor for events on ear th ? the devils touch which lead to a twig which then led to an apple and then a big bite ? a ver y big bite, one in fact that lead us to be outcasted from heaven and dwell on the ear th. It?s one of the fir st stor ies about God and his relationship with human beings. There is countless infor mation on people?s exper iences which led them to have a belief in Angels. Just go to the spir itual section on any good bookstore and ask to seethe r ange of books on people recounting their exper iences. There are not many books on Angels which are specific to this question ? Do Angel?s exist, but there are countless books on the question ? do you believe in Angels? The only r ange of books on Angels in this section of a moder n bookstore are ?love and light?books about spir its also known as Soloman?s Angels in this neck of the woods. So if asked do you believe in Angels or not, it definitely would be and yes or no type of answer. But that?s just talking about belief in Angels, and whether you believe in them or not. Many people come to conclusion of yes and no about their per sonal belief in Angels due to a need for self gr atification or to validate a good exper ience with that belief, such as a fond childhood memor y, a reward, or feeling heavenly and happy. It really can make or break your entire belief with God and Angels of his work, especially the schema in your head.
