This tractor is Made in Korea, and it is also a fully equipped model that can handle both manual and hydraulic-driven implements. The engine emission is TIER 3, making it eco-friendly and causing less pollution compared to others when using this tractor.

Additionally, it is turbocharged for more power, especially when working in challenging terrains for pulling or carrying heavy loads. It comes with a 12x12 FxR transmission.

Furthermore, there are ready hydraulic ports in the front, and you can also equip front equipment such as a loader, grabber, or picker, among others. There are a total of 8 ports on it (4 Rear; 4 Front).

5 in 1 Rice Mill Demonstration for Walk-in Customer

Before

After Amidst the January season, the Fit Corea team arranged and executed a live demonstration for a customer who had walked in, bringing along their own rice to be used in the showcase. The issue at hand was that the customer's rice turned slightly blackish after going through their own rice milling process.

Faced with this concern, the customer opted to take their polished rice to Fit Corea to witness the performance of Leehwa's 5 in 1 Rice Mill. Arcel and Christian, the customer, brought their polished rice to Leehwa's Rice Mill Huller, to re-polish their rice and observe the actual outcome of the process.

The customer is amazed by the output, as their rice is already well-polished with Leehwa's 5-in-1 Rice Mill.

BREAKING AWAY FROM TRADITION, THRIVING IN MODERNIZATION

Modernization has changed and shaped the way farmers perceive time, transforming labor-intensive farm activities into a fast-paced, efficient process. Thanks to experts who envisioned efficiency and productivity in farming.

One such cooperative is the growing Kangyat Farmers Multipurpose Cooperative based in Agusan del Sur, comprising integrated farmers from the Municipalities of La Paz, San Luis, and Talacogon in Agusan del Sur.

As part of the Department of Agriculture – Caraga’s drive for modernization and mechanization, several Farmer’s Cooperatives and Associations (FCAs) in the region have already benefited from these interventions.

Currently, the cooperative focuses on the production of yellow corn, delivering an estimated 18 tons of yellow corn or the equivalent of two ten-wheeler trucks each cropping season.

Now, Kangyat members are enjoying the fast-paced nature of their farming life. “Today, one hectare of land can be plowed with a tractor in just one hour, and during harvesting, the farmer's products can be collected easily. Previously, it would take us 2-3 days,” he added.

PHP 126M WORTH OF AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY DISTRIBUTED IN PAMPANGA

PHilMech distributed more than Php 126 million worth of agricultural machinery to 54 Farmers’ Cooperatives and Associations (FCAs) and Local Government Units (LGUs) under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) – Mechanization Program during the agricultural machinery turnover in San Fernando, Pampanga on January 11.

The machines given during the turnover consist of 22 units of hand tractors, 20 units of four-wheel drive tractors, 15 units of rice combine harvesters, 13 units of riding-type transplanters, two units of walk-behind transplanters, four units of precision seeders, one unit of mobile rice mill, five units of 12-ton recirculating dryer, one unit of 6-ton recirculating dryer, and seven units of single pass rice mill.

The turnover was graced with the presence of PHilMech Director IV Dr. Dionisio G. Alvindia, DA-RFO III Regional Executive Director Crispulo G. Bautista, Pampanga Governor Hon. Dennis G. Pineda, Pampanga Vice Governor Hon. Lilia G. Pineda, and Senator Cynthia A. Villar’s representative, Ms. Mabel Esguerra, together with the representatives from provincial and municipal offices of the province.

FIFT RCEF MACHINERY DISTRIBUTION IN TARLAC EXCEEDS PHP 79M Qualified farmers' cooperatives and associations (FCAs) and local government units (LGUs) from Tarlac have recently been awarded more than Php79 million worth of agricultural machinery and postharvest facilities, courtesy of the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) - Mechanization Program.

During the awarding, which was held at the provincial capitol of Tarlac this January 12, 40 FCA and LGU beneficiaries were awarded grants that include two units of hand tractors, 22 units of four-wheel-drive tractors, three units of walk-behind transplanters, six units of riding-type transplanters, three units of precision seeders, 11 units of rice combine harvesters, and one unit of a single-pass rice mill.

Since RCEF’s implementation in 2019, a total of 218 FCA and LGU beneficiaries have already benefited from the 431 units of various agricultural and postharvest facilities awarded in Tarlac, providing the province with more than Php400 million in assistance.

PHilMech's Dir. IV Dionisio G. Alvindia and Dir. III Joel V. Dator oversaw the turnover of additional production technologies to the municipal local government unit of Quezon, Nueva Ecija on January 17.

The local government unit is now in possession of two units of Php4.4 million worth four-wheel drive tractor (4WDT), which will further help benefit farmer's cooperatives and associations and individual farmers in the municipality. This is in addition to the drying and milling facilities valued at Php16 million that was awarded in late 2023.

As of today, Quezon has acquired Php35 million worth of various production technologies under the RCEF Mechanization Program's 2019 to 2023 budget.

This includes seven units of 4WDTS, five units of hand tractor, one unit each of a precision seeder, a walk-behind transplanter, and a riding-type transplanter, as well as eight units of rice combine harvester.

MORE THAN PHP 35 MILLION WORTH OF FARM MACHINERY

More than Php 35 million worth of farm machinery was distributed to 23 Farmers' Cooperatives and Associations (FCAs) and Local Government Units (LGUs) in Bataan during the agricultural machinery turnover at Sibul Nature Spring Resort in Abucay, Bataan today, January 19.

The machinery distributed includes 7 units of four-wheel tractors, 12 units of hand tractors, 2 units of riding-type transplanters, 8 units of rice combine harvesters, and a unit of a single-pass rice mill.

Leading the event, PHilMech Dir. IV Dr. Dionisio G. Alvindia highlighted the importance of using the machinery responsibly for the betterment of local agriculture. This reflects Bataan's strong commitment to supporting sustainable growth in its agricultural community.

At present, Bataan has obtained a substantial total of 289 agricultural machinery and postharvest facilities, valued at over Php 241 million. This acquisition has proven beneficial to 129 FCAs and LGUs in the province.

AGRI CHIEF EYES F.T.I. COLD STORAGE TO ADDRESS POST-HARVEST LOSSES, OVERSUPPLY Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel, Jr. is planning to build more cold storage facilities at the Food Terminal in Taguig City as part of a broader strategy to address overproduction and minimize post-harvest losses of agricultural products, particularly vegetables and other high-value crops.

“Ang immediate problem na nakikita ko ay iyong oversupply from time to time ng tomatoes and cabbage. Kaya dapat magtayo tayo agad ng storage sa FTI. Ang direction ko is to build a network for chilled cold storage systems,” Secretary Tiu Laurel said during a briefing with officials of Food Terminal, Inc. in Taguig City.

The agriculture chief also told FTI officials to purchase excess produce of farmers and supply them to Kadiwa centers. The FTI is a government firm under the Department of Agriculture.

He underscored the department’s plan to centralize all agriculture logistics management matters, including FTI, to the soon-to-be-formed Logistics Office of the DA. As part of his plan for FTI, Tiu Laurel is looking to construct a chiller warehouse dedicated to vegetables and other high-value crops at a 1.3-hectare section of the sprawling government property in Taguig City. The facility will also be equipped with a processing plant and trading area, and will prioritize farmers’ produce for buffer stocking, he added.

“Half of the warehouse should be allocated to the coil system, kalahati evaporator type. The evaporator type is for short-term storage of high-value crops. Iyong coil, because there is no circulating fan, moisture is kept within the storage, it will keep things fresh for a longer period,” he explained.

BABRC VISIT AND INSPECTION Agriculture Secretary Francisco P. Tiu Laurel, Jr. visited the Dairy Project site at the Baguio Animal Breeding and Research Center (BABRC) in Dontogan, Baguio City on January 26, 2024.

Guided by the officials of the BABRC and the DA-Cordillera Regional Field Office (RFO), the agri chief was oriented on the 94-hectare government facility that plays an important role in conducting technology demonstrations and research for the region’s crops and livestock industry.

The BABRC, which has been known as a dairy farm and an outlet for good quality dairy products and by-products, also serves as a production center for other livestock such as native pigs, chickens, and horses and crops such as coffee and citrus seedlings.
