KOREA MACHINERY showcased in the 1st Cagayan Valley Farm Progress Show last November 2021

The first ever Cagayan Valley Farm Progress show is an agricultural exhibition held in the Echague, Province of Isabela last Nov. 22-26, 2021. The Event gathered farmers, private individuals, businessman, researchers, writers, inventors, and innovators in the field of agriculture industry. This year’s theme “Empowering though Innovative Farming”, the exhibition aims to show the latest farming technology available in the market today.

The exhibition was graced by distinguished guests and speakers led by Vice Governor Hon. Bonjie Dy. Some notable speakers gave their messages through live streaming and pre-recorded speech includes the Secretary of the Department of Agriculture Sec. William D. Dar, Undersecretary for Livestock William C. Medrano, Ph.D, Director of PhilMech Dr. Baldwin G. Jallorina, and Regional Executive Director of DA RFO 02, Narciso A. Edillo, M.A.E.D. Also, from the town of Echague Hon. Mayor Faustino Dy and from State University, their President Mr. Ricmar P. Aquino also gave their support in the exhibition through their inspiring messages to the farmers, visitors and exhibitors.

Launching of NEW FIT COREA Agri-machinery

Among other machinery, FIT Corea launched new technology in the Philippines market such as 60hp cabin type (aircon) Branson Tractor, Sungboo manual type Levee maker for ridge forming that can be attached from 30hp to 60hp to any tractor brand, Agricultural drone, the new technology Iron coating machine which use iron to coat the seeds before direct seeding. We also launch the first ever Damoa Portable Fuel Injector to address the common problem of tractor owners and operator about dirty fuel and fuel containers which is common cause of tractor engine breakdown. Of course, present also was the machinery for the collaborative project of KAMICO-PHILMECH which are Leehwa Corn Mill, Bulls Onion mechanization machinery which includes from Cultivating, Bed forming, vinyl mulching, seeding and harvesting and Sungboo Multi-purpose Lifting Machine which is very helpful for mango growers and other orchard farmers.

Other machinery showcased by KAMICO and FIT COREA in the exhibition from land Preparation to post harvest machinery, High Value Crops and Poultry and Livestock are as follows. For rice production they showcase Branson Tractor, Wecan PTO Driven Rotating Disc Plow and Rotavator, Hanil Loader, Asia Direct Seeder, Sundori agricultural Drone sprayer, Leehwa Rice Milling & Polishing Machine, Brown rice mill machine. Livestock and Poultry machinery such as Hanseo Truck Mounted Sprayer/ Disinfectant machine and Sambu Wall type Sprayer to be use for disinfecting against ASF, AI, FMD among others viruses.

Before the year end, some of the farmers and entrepreneur opted to embark on a farm mechanization journey.

Last December 4, 2021, Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Esteban, a couple farmers from Laur, Nueva Ecija, purchased one unit of 5in1 rice milling and polishing machine. After delivering the machine to Mr. Esteban’s farm, the Fit corea team showed him and his team how to use it and taught them about the various parts of the machine.

Another good customer is Mr. Roberto Gurang, an OFW seaman since 2004, purchased one unit of 5in1 rice milling and polishing machine to start his own milling business last December 6, 2021. He lived in Maribojoc, Bohol.

Newly arrived Asia cultivators from Korea landed at Batangas Port.

FitCorea finally received the containers with Asia cultivators last December 13, which will be given over to one of the dealers, Brixton Construction for their cooperative project in Lipa, Taal Rehabilitation 2021.

The Taal Recovery and Rehabilitation Program is one of the Department of Agriculture’s projects for the year 2021, and Brixton has partnered with them to provide over 120 Asia cultivators to all those affected by the Taal Volcano’s eruption in 2020.

Asia Cultivator is a world’s largest multistage operation & fore-back rotation rotary. Asia’s rotary transmission allows low and high speed operation with one touch lever control. Front&back spinning can be transmitted by one touch controlling, and, if needed, a safety stopper can be mounted to make back spinning, which is one of the great benefit beyond comparison with others. It is available for attentive cultivating unlike existing cultivators and has an excellent effect on any kind of work including rice fields.

Asia Riding type Direct seeder

Last December 21, 2021, another container arrived in the philippines containing Asia Riding type direct seeder and parts of Asia cultivators.

The 36 units of Riding type Direct seeder are already allocated to RCEF (Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund or Rice Fund) program of DA-Philmech. RCEF aims to support Filipino farmers to increase production, profitability and keep pace with global competition through the use of appropriate production and post-harvest technology.

Asia Riding Type Direct Seeder is developed by Korea and has been successfully tested and studied in the Philippines by PhilRice through KOPIA. Korea riding-type seeder has potential as method of crop establishment in rice production as well as seed production due to savings in labor and reduced seed requirement per hectare. The mechanical seeder could be used by farmer-cooperative or seed growers for rice crop establishment.

5in1 Rice milling andPolishingmachine

The LH 5001MGOLD TYPE Rice milling and Polishing machine of LEEHWA company, has been established in the Philippines since 2006 and now the leading Rice milling machine in the country nationwide. There are five main functions of this machine. First is the Impurity sorter, it separates the paddy impurities such as Rice straws, leaves, bigger stone, etc. Second is Rice husk separator, which separate the husk from the paddy seed. Third is the Rice bran separator, the husk and the bran has their own separate outlet so you can get a fine bran which you can feed to your pigs, chicken, ducks, etc. Next is the Adjustable Polishing grade, this is not just your typical polisher. The polisher can be adjusted depending on the grade you want so you can produce a semi milled or well milled rice. Lastly, the stone separator, it separate the stone from the polished rice.

One very good reason why it can be profitable is that the mill has a high milling recovery of 68 percent. This means that for every 100 kilos of palay milled, 68 kilos of polished rice is recovered. This is much higher than the usual milling recovery of other small rice mills that ranges from only 55 to 60 percent.

Trading Phils Inc. held a meeting on the 18th of December at 10 D Arellano Street, Caloocan city, Office. The CEO and president of FIT COREA TRADING PHILS INC., Mr. Philip Kim hosted the End-of-Year Meeting. The goal of the meeting is to improve the team and the strategy for the coming year.

The meeting’s agenda includes the following items: “Cleanliness” as the year’s slogan, “Working Sheet,” “Cleaning Everyday,” “Appreciation for the Old Member,” “Rearranging the Office Table Places,” “Assigned Personnel Outside of the Office,” “Factory Bell,” and “Positive / Good Words.”

Mr. Philip has announced that the unified working sheet would be available to all employees beginning Monday. He also told everyone that

Cleanliness is essential for everyone to be able to perform effectively. To make cleaning the office easier, he organized the employees into cleaning teams. In fact, he has created a way that allows everyone to do well. Every six months, the person who keeps the office the cleanest receives a bonus check. He also wants to cut down on smoking and drinking in the workplace. As a result, he created the motto “No smoking and drinking” to reduce the things that can harm their health. He also wants to rearrange the office table and add a computer station to keep track of the parts inventory.

Meanwhile, he encourages everyone to speak positively and refrain from making poor jokes. Respecting one another can improve one’s mood. He also designated Mr. Jojo as the staff in charge of the mechanics and other relevant tasks outdoors, as well as the authority to mandate coemployees. He further clarified that the break time will be (3:00-3:15 p.m. & 5:15-5:30 p.m.) and that no other business or use of smartphones (unless absolutely required) will be allowed during working hours.

One thing that makes Mr. Philip feel very fulfilled is that “Cleanliness is the key” for the company, when your environment is clean you feel happy, motivated and healthy.
