ROADSHOW PLANNING VIA ZOOM MEETING Early this February, NESGMPC asked for a meeting with Fitcorea, represented by Ms. Marilou and former ASEC Andrew to formally propose their project, a roadshow for the Korea machinery. They want to showcase and introduce the Korea agricultural machinery to their members and some business farmers. NESGMPC is also known as Nueva Ecija Seed Growers Multipurpose Cooperative and as of now has 213 active members.
A week after the first meeting was held, Manager Marilou attended a zoom meeting with former ASEC Andrew and NESGMPC. They discussed what they’ll need for the roadshow and what they should avoid. The first thing they clarified was the total attendees of the event because to successfully do a roadshow there must be several guests and people to see the indoor display and field demo of the machines. NESGMPC assured to get 350 guests including their members and potential buyers for the show. Former Asec Andrew also said that for the indoor display they must do a mini-program for the guests and assign a speaker for every topic. He also suggests getting a speech from the Department of Agriculture sector, Kamico President/representative, Fit Corea Trading Phils. and some sectors in the Agriculture. Manager Marilou also mentioned the list of machines that Fit corea going to showcase during the roadshow and product display. She said that before the event day, the team fit corea must go there to ready the place for the field demo and to also deliver ahead of time all the machines. NESGMPC added some details like the food distribution, sound system, and the flow of the event. Even though this is a close event just for their members and invitees, NESGMPC will invite some media to document the first collaborative event of NESGMPC and Kamico-Fit Corea and other partner agencies.

FIT COREA PLANNING & ORGANIZING THE ROADSHOW 2022
After several meetings with the organizers, Fit Corea conducted a general meeting with all the employees to discuss the planning and schedules of delivery of all the display and demo units to the NESGMPC venue. The first thing that was discussed was the list of machines needed for the event. Since the event is meant to showcase Korea’s agricultural machinery, Manager Marilou includes the most common machinery that was normally used for the roadshow and also applicable to the farm in Nueva Ecija. President Philip also shared that for this event he wanted to portray the idea that every machine will be the shield or protection of the seeds.

After listing all the machines to bring, the mechanic team planned the date and time of delivery of every machine to the NESGMPC office. They also point out that it’s best not to bring the demo unit of the Branson tractor and just ask some people who own a Branson tractor near the venue to be more convenient. Manager Marilou and the mechanics arranged the implements needed for the tractor and were advised to do checking of the parts and engine of every machine so that there will be no issues during the field demonstrations. Archie, one of the mechanics, was told to do field and soil checking ahead of time.

Another thing that was discussed is the giveaways to prepare and pack. Manager Marilou assigned Jeff and Yann for the buying and preparation of the giveaways. Just like on the past roadshows, the common giveaways are umbrellas and T-shirts, but since this will be a great opportunity to showcase Korea’s agricultural machinery, President Philip advises adding additional small giveaways like alcohol sprayers and tumblers. For the tarpaulin and other design decors, the design team will be the one to check on it and also secure the photos and videos of the event.

LATEST SUNDORI AGRICULTURAL DRONES Fit Corea Team tested two drones with different purposes and functions on March 16, 2022. Mr. Jeffrey was in charge of operating and systematizing the drones’ GPS systems to ensure their stability in flight. Due to the lack of time for preparation during the testing they noticed that the drones were not stable because the GPS signal in the area was weak. The Agricultural drone sprayer SDR A-20 (20-liter class) has a large capacity of 20 liters, and can control approximately 15 minutes in a single flight. The substance can penetrate evenly thanks to the strong downwind design, which maximizes the control effect. The folding structure’s frame and propeller make it simple to store and transport. The Agricultural Drone Sprayer has improved in recent years, and farmers are happening to see the benefits of drones in agriculture. How can drones help agriculture in the Philippines? Drones not only improve overall performance but also encourage farmers to overcome other challenges and earn numerous benefits from precision agriculture. The drone survey increases crop yields while reducing time and costs. Drones are used in agriculture for a variety of tasks, including mapping, surveying, crop dusting, and spraying.
