Until 31 August Poole Summer Fireworks

Get your groove on for the Summer Spectacular Fireworks as fabulous FREE live music, entertainment and fireworks come to Poole Quay this summer! Organised by BCP Tourism and bringing a party atmosphere to Poole’s continental quayside with live music, entertainment and family fun before finishing with a summer firework finale over the largest natural harbour in Europe at 10PM! Entertainment will include live music, family street entertainment, and some rides and activities for the family to enjoy in the lead up to the fireworks display. 7pm-10.30pm.

Poole Quay For My Car

The event offers free entry onto the quayside for the car owners who fit the theme for that particular evening. With a stunning backdrop of the Quay and Poole Harbour it is the perfect location for owners to show off their vehicles. 6-9pm

13-15 AUGUST LANDSCAPES OF DORSET AND CORNWALL

Caroline Nairn is a Weymouth-based artist whose inspiration comes from the Dorset countryside and West Country coastline. Her love of nature, walking and sketching outdoors has led her to create this exhibition. Caroline usually works in acrylics, pastels or mixed media, and her focus in this show is on depicting local scenes, especially trees, water and rock structures, as the shapes and patterns in these natural forms provide her with fascinating projects. Early morning bird walk and breakfast

A ranger from Dorset Wildlife Trust will lead you on a wander around the island, lakes and lagoon to experience the peace and tranquillity of Brownsea out of hours. The soundtrack to this experience is provided by the island’s wildlife as it busies and day breaks. 7.30am-10am. Brownsea Island, Poole Harbour, Dorset BH13 7EE
