The line-up continues into the more modern era, too, with Jaguar’s 200mph ‘90s supercar, the XJ220 – one of just 281 built – and the 2018 Ferrari GTC4 Lusso ‘Tailor Made’. In fact, the standard of cars is so high that there is no judging panel – just securing a place in Hampton Court Palace is an enormous achievement itself. Instead, the owners of the cars themselves vote on which they deem to be the most elegant. In total, nearly 1000 cars will gather in the Palace grounds over the weekend, as a selection of vintage Jaguars competes for the Jaguar Trophy, and modern and classic Bentleys fight it out for the Bentley Trophy. The Royal Automobile Club Trophy sees a gathering of the UK’s finest car clubs, from Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, Aston Martin, entering their finest vehicles for an opportunity to in a muchvaunted place among the Main Concours in the 2019 event. All of these cars provide a unique atmosphere for a whole host of luxury experiences at Concours of Elegance, including three-course luxury picnics from Tom Aikens. 58% survival rate from Cardiac Arrest. Well let me frighten you – the cardiac survival rate in the UK is just 7%! So all of us spent a day sitting in the Vienna emergency call centre as they took the calls. As soon as the word HEART was mentioned, an ambulance and motorcycle were sent to the location of the phone signal before any other questions were asked. The gentleman from Dubai asked the Controller, why they did that. His answer was that they can easily call the ambulance back, but they can’t bring people back from death.

f losing 5 close friends inside 2 years to Cardiac Arrest was not enough. Then being on the wrong golf course on the wrong day and ending up performing CPR on a lad for 43mins. With the aid of a defibrillator the lad has made a full recovery – he was so lucky, I should have never been there. Although he thinks I kissed him too much! I only had a First Aid refresher course five weeks before this incident and learned about THE defibrillators which WAS expertly used by the club pro. Apart from that trauma, two weeks later I was told that around 30 people were watching and only one other came to help with CPR. This statistic worried me so much that I decided to find out why this was so. 1 Scared of doing it wrong. 2 Frightened of causing more damage. 3 Scared of catching disease from ‘kiss of life’. 4 Getting sued. 5 Not having the confidence and skill of performing CPR. So I was invited to Vienna by Philips ElectronicS to learn how they deal with Cardiac Arrest. Eight of us were suited and booted from ALL cornerS of the world, all eager to learn WHY Vienna achieve

1 Every child aged eight and over have to do a full day first aid every year and that includes CPR and defibrillator use until they leave education. 2 Passed your driving test? I was very humbled when The Mayor of Vienna and the chief of police gave us in person the blueprint to their success, which I will fight tooth and nail to get implicated into our society – for the sake of my friends and the safety of your dads, brothers, sons and every member of your family. uffolk is a collection that’s known and loved for its simplicity, its less-is-more approach and its Shaker influence. Whether it’s the kitchen cabinetry or the freestanding pieces for the rest of the home, our customers tell us how they appreciate its ability to suit any style of house. Its pared-back nature lets it act as a blank yet beautiful canvas. But, we wanted to help Suffolk to do more. Its ‘standard’ palette felt a little too country. A few of its details were a bit too fussy. And some of the learnings and new ideas we’ve had since it was first designed deserved to become part of the entire collection. So, we’ve gone back to the drawing board. This is Suffolk Kitchen, again, anew.

NEW FEATURES Suffolk laundry Cabinets The Chichester laundry cabinetry has been a big success, and so we decided to bring the most popular designs to Suffolk too. We’ve also developed a full-height cabinet with nothing but adjustable oak shelving inside – it’s a simpler version of the broom cabinet and a scaled-down version of a larder. New Countertop cabinets Henley’s countertop designs have been introduced to Suffolk so that a sense of a larder can be brought into smaller kitchens or tighter spaces. Use them on top of a run of cabinetry or paired with the corresponding five-drawer base cabinet to create a deconstructed larder. New base cabinets The new base cabinets have increased functionality. Designs with drawers won’t have any cutlery separators or spice racks so each drawer can be used more freely, and the split-level bin was created with recycling in mind. Sometimes, it’s the smallest of details that count. Like our new approach to cabinet accessories. Not everyone wants a cutlery tray in their drawer, but there are some who want more than one. Some customers ask for Limehouse’s spice rack or wet store, whereas others ask whether we provide storage boxes. So, with the new Suffolk, all of our drawers will come completely clear, and the following accessories can be added into as many drawers as the customer wishes.
THE PALETTE In the new Suffolk, we move on from Honed Slate and Dove Grey – a colour coupling that we love, but that meant Suffolk was seen through more of a country lens. Instead, we wanted to choose a finish that was much more subtle and would open it up to any type of home, from townhouse to city apartment, and any style of interior, from country to contemporary. Suffolk was open-minded before, but it needed to be re-painted to bring forward its versatility.
