We invite you to help us build a
Fisher House in Phoenix. Every donation, whether it’s one-time or monthly, is appreciated. Depending upon your level of support, you may receive permanent recognition. Since 1951, the Phoenix VA Health Care System has provided world-class care to veterans throughout the region. Today, it serves more than 130,000 veterans across the valley through the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center, twelve community-based outpatient clinics, and a Community Resource Center focused on programs and services for veterans experiencing homelessness. The 16-suite Fisher House will provide a “home away from home” for up to 5,840 family lodging nights each year, saving families more than $972,000 annually in lodging and transportation costs.
Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes where military and veteran families can stay at no cost while a loved one is in the hospital.
Donors who contribute $25,000 or more to the construction of a Fisher House will receive the following benefits: • Invitations to house celebration events • Recognition in Fisher House Foundation’s annual report • Eligible for social media recognition upon approval
Donors who contribute $100,000 or more will be recognized as follows, in addition to benefits listed above: • Permanent listing on bronze recognition plaque displayed at the entrance of the newly constructed Fisher House • Special recognition with the prestigious Patriot Award at the house celebration • Representation and recognition at house celebration events

THE FISHER HOUSE PROGRAM PROVIDES a home away from home for families of patients receiving medical care at major military and VA medical centers. The homes provide temporary, free lodging so families can be close to their loved ones during a medical crisis. Fisher Houses create an instant community for their residents, while also providing each family with a safe and inviting refuge after a long day to rest and recharge.
