A MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN AND CEO Dear Friends, It is with great joy that I welcome you to the 2021 Fisher House Golf Classic. After a year of such uncertainty, it is wonderful to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Thanks to you and despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Fisher House Foundation was able to open six new houses, begin construction on a Fisher House in Kansas City, Missouri, and put the plans in place to begin construction on three new houses in 2021. Because of you, we were able to expand the network of Fisher Houses to four new states bringing a home away from home to veterans in Louisiana, Michigan, Nebraska, West Virginia, and the surrounding areas.

In 2020, families still needed our support, and we were there for them. One active-duty Air Force family, the Gaspars, arrived at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center from Japan in January after wife and mother, Kimberly, was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor. The family of five spent the next seven months at Fisher House while Kimberly underwent surgery and treatment.

“A safe, warm and supportive, communal household where we could keep our family intact and persevere while my wife received her much-needed care at the hospital, which was a few minutes’ walk away,” said Maj. Ian Gaspar. “For that, we will always be grateful for the support given by Fisher House Foundation.”

With your continued support, we can keep supporting our military and veteran families through the expanding network of Fisher Houses, our scholarship programs, and through our Hero Miles and Hotel for Heroes Programs.

A MESSAGE FROM THE FISHER HOUSE GOLF CLASSIC COMMITTEE CO-CHAIRS Welcome to the 2021 Fisher House Golf Classic! We are excited to have you here with us today after the challenging year we have all had. Things may look different this year, but we are confident that you will enjoy all the tournament offerings that the Fisher House Golf Classic Committee has planned.

We are so appreciative of our sponsors’ continued support and are delighted to have brought in eight new sponsors to the Fisher House Golf Classic family this year. It is fitting that the Fisher House Golf Classic takes place in May, which is Military Appreciation Month. Proceeds from the tournament support the construction of several new Fisher Houses that will provide a much-needed “home away from home” for service members, veterans, and their families. Currently, there are 91 Fisher Houses in operation. Your support makes it possible for Fisher House to continue expanding and serving these amazing individuals and families.

Every year we strive to make this event the premier golf tournament in the region, and we’re thankful for the support of our generous sponsors and donors. While we have had to make adjustments to this year’s tournament with safety at the top of mind, we hope you will enjoy the amenities provided on the courses.
