Dear Friends,
Because of you, 2024 was another remarkable year of caring for military and veteran families. Your unwavering support has brought us closer to our goal on the Road to 100 Fisher Houses.
2024 was busy! We finished three houses in San Antonio, Texas; Memphis, Tennessee; and Detroit, Michigan, and we pushed over the 100 houses milestone when we began building in North Chicago, Illinois and Little Rock, Arkansas. Our other programs also made significant impacts as we awarded more than $2.7 million in scholarships, helping more than 1,390 students achieve their educational goals and, through our Fisher Service Awards, presented $400,000 to other nonprofits whose innovative programs improve the quality of life for the military and veteran communities.
As we reach the milestone of 100 Fisher Houses, I reflect on the many partners, donors, volunteers, and incredible staff members who have given so much to ensure our veterans and service members have a loved one nearby during medical care. My heart is full of gratitude to all of you who share in the belief that we owe it to these men and women for all they were and are willing to sacrifice.
Thank you for joining us as we support our greatest national treasure and their families. Our national heroes deserve our steadfast support and commitment, and together we will continue to be there for them in the most difficult times.

OUR MISSION
Fisher House Foundation, Inc. is an international not-for-profit organization established to improve the quality of life for members of the military, retirees, veterans, and their families. The Foundation builds comfort homes at military and VA medical centers and gifts them to the government. It assists with the coordination of private support and encourages public support for the network of comfort homes known as “Zachary and Elizabeth M. Fisher Houses.” It works to educate and inform the military and veteran communities, their families, and the general public about Fisher Houses and provides necessary support to individual Fisher Houses as needed. Other programs include scholarships, an awards program recognizing innovative programs for military and veteran communities, the Hero Miles and Hotels for Heroes programs, and individual assistance to members of the military and their families during a crisis.
