Mineral surveying Fisher German advise clients nationally on a wide variety of mineral surveying matters including: • Mineral development – negotiating options, leases and rent reviews for new quarries and quarry extensions • Purchase and sale – acting in the purchase and sale of mineralbearing assets • Minerals management – managing mineral extraction sites on behalf of property owners • Valuations – freehold and leasehold valuations for secured lending, company accounting and tax purposes • Compulsory purchase claims – negotiating compensation due to the sterilisation of minerals either by historic infrastructure or new projects • After use and restoration of former mineral sites – managing sites through the restoration process and identifying commercial opportunities • Mineral appraisal reports – desktop assessment of a property’s mineral potential including the type of mineral present, planning requirements and restoration options
