Our Food
Fresh. Sustainable. Award-winning.
Award-Winning Fish & Chips
Each fillet of MSC-certified sustainably sourced cod or haddock is cooked to tender, flaky perfection in a light and crispy batter. Served with our twice-cooked home-cut chips, we garnish with a slice of fresh lemon, and our house mushy peas and tartare sauce.
Our award-winning fish and chips have earned Fish City numerous accolades, including: the UK’s Restaurant of the Year and Environment & Sustainability Champion (National Fish & Chip Awards, 2023), the Marine Stewardship Council’s Foodservice Champion of the Year 2023, the Sustainable Seafood Award and Healthy Eating Award (UK National Fish & Chip Awards, 2018), a Catey for Health & Nutrition (The Caterer, 2018), and Seafood Restaurant of the Year (Seafish, 2019; NI Food Awards, 2020).

Local & Sustainable Seafood
We are committed to responsibly and sustainably sourcing the seafood for every dish on our menus. And we are proudly the first Marine Stewardship Council (MSC)-certified restaurant on the island of Ireland.
We have pledged to ensure that all seafood products used in our processes are harvested sustainably. This means that seafood is harvested at levels that maintain their availability for present and future generations. To achieve this, we preferentially source seafood from responsibly managed fisheries and farms, such as those rated 1–3 at goodfishguide.org or are certified by internationally recognised and respected ecolabels or standards.
From net to plate, we ensure full food traceability, working with local producers wherever possible, to offer our guests a menu that is both flavoursome and healthy. From rope-grown Strangford Lough mussels to responsibly farmed Carlingford oysters, our daytime and evening à la carte menus provide a wide selection of responsibly sourced seafood dishes, and our specials offer guests creative, exquisite dishes that celebrate the sea.
