First Response supporting SCS Family Day

Page 1

First Response were pleased to be asked to take part in the HS2 Family Fun Day, held on Sunday 14th July 2024.

The Skanska Costain Strabag JV (SCS) event proved popular for the families of those who work on this very important project.

The weather was warm for a change, and our inflatable Baseball and Football events were enjoyed by all. In fact, we were pleased to see so many return for a second time.

We ran two competitions; the Tiger Tool Hunt and the Three Bucket Challenge.

They proved popular and we had a lot of entrants to sift through. The names of the winners can be found on the competition page.

We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand, all the competition entrants and of course SCS Railways; Skanska, Costain and Strabag. We had a great day, met familiar faces and many lovely families.

Guessing of proved

Guessing the weight of the three buckets proved tough too...!

The drinks down

The sweets and drinks went down well

...some of us were busy; but not too sure about others.
Don’t worry you’ll soon grow into it.

Call the AA, Dad I can’t get this engine to start.
