Udaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said on Monday that by celebrating the birth anniversary of Maharana Pratap every year, the young generation is getting inspired by his sacrifice, valour and bravery.

CID CB arrests man with fake currency worth `1.41 lakh

Jaipur: In a major action, the CID CB of Police Headquarters arrested a crook with fake currency notes of Rs 1.41 lakh on Monday.

The police team took this action on Manoharpura-Dausa Highway. Rahul Gurjar, a resident of Manoharpura Todi village, was arrested. The police seized fake notes worth Rs 1.41 lakh from the miscreants. All the fake notes were of Rs 200.

DIG Crime Rahul Prakash told that information was received from the informer that a young man is circulating fake currency notes in the area. After this, a team was appointed to trap the fraudster. The police have arrested Rahul Gurjar and registered an FIR.

The Chief Minister announced formation of Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap Board at the function. This board will make the young generation aware about the bravery of Pratap. Gehlot also announced to undertake development works at a cost of Rs 5 crore for the development of Maharana Pratap’s mausoleum, Rajtilak Sthal and other places, allotment of land near Meera Medpat Girls Hostel for hostel. He said that an announcement has been made to make Maharana Pratap Panorama at Chavand at a cost of Rs 4 crore, for which work orders have been issued.
