PM Modi to visit Ram Temple in Jan for idol consecration: Yogi

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla in the upcoming Ram Temple in Ayodhya in January next year.

Yogi further said the ceremony would be preceded by a grand Deepotsav later this year, when as many as 21 lakh diyas (earthen lamps) would be lit in the temple town.

“Jab 500 varshon ke baad Ram Lalla apne mandir mein virajmaan honge to saari duniya akarshit hogi,” Yogi said, while addressing a large gathering in Ayodhya as part of the BJP’s Mahasampark Abhiyan, marking the completion of nine years of Narendra Modi govt at the Centre.
