Meena, Jaipur Development Authority Commissioner Ravi Jain and all top officials of JDA were present on the occasion.

Newly appointed director of RIC NC Goel took a meeting on Friday. In the meeting, JDC Ravi Jain asked to make new members in Rajasthan International Center. Goel said that a calendar will be issued after preparing an outline of future activities.

First India Bureau Bhilwara: Karnataka Governor Thawarchand Gehlot on Friday reached Bhilwara on his one-day visit. During his visit, he also offered prayers at Dhanop Mata Temple.

President of Dhanop Trust Satyendra Singh Ranawat welcomed the governor and performed special prayers on this occasion. Before visiting the temple, Thawarchand Gehlot attended a family function at the house of his OSD Shankarlal Gurjar in Deoria. Later, the governor left for Jodhpur.

Jaipur (PTI): Stateowned SJVN Ltd has bagged 100 MW solar power project worth Rs 600 crore from Rajasthan

SJVN Green Energy Ltd (SGEL), a whollyowned subsidiary of SJVN, participated in an open competitive tariff bidding process followed by e-Reverse Auction (e-RA) organised by Raj Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (RUVNL).

Nand Lal Sharma, Chairman & Managing Director of SJVN, informed in a statement that SJVN has bagged 100 MW State Transmission Utility (STU) connected solar power project in Rajasthan. SGEL bagged the project at a tariff of Rs 2.62 per unit on Build Own and Operate (BOO) basis in the bidding process, the statement said on Friday. Further, Sharma apprised that the ground mounted solar project will be developed by SGEL anywhere in Raj through EPC contract.

NOW, SJVN HAS CAPACITY OF 1,100 MW IN RAJASTHAN

With the allotment of this project, SJVN now has 1,100 MW solar power projects in State, including 1,000 MW Bikaner Solar Project which is scheduled to be commissioned in current FY. The tentative cost for the development of this project will be approximately Rs 600 cr, Sharma stated. The project is expected to generate 252 MU (million unit) in the first year, and the project cumulative energy generation over a period of 25 years would be about 5,866 MU, the statement added.

Petition in SC against Raj HC order

New Delhi (ANI): A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court raising the issue of whether video and voice notes can be treated as dying declarations or not and challenging the Rajasthan High Court which refused a plea seeking a court-monitored investigation or CBI probe in alleged honour killing case.

The petition has been moved by Uma Paliwal through advocates Utkarsh Singh and Sureshan P. The petitioner has challenged the Rajasthan High Court order dated

April 19, 2023, wherein directions for court-monitored re-investigation or investigation by CBI were sought in the alleged honour killing case. On May 27, 2022, a case was registered at Jhallara in Udaipur district under various charges.

The office bearers of the Rajasthan Judicial Service Officers Association also met Governor of Rajasthan Kalraj Mishra on Friday.

Case filed against Mahindra, 2 others

Jaipur (FIB) : A case has been registered against Mahindra and Mahindra Chairman Anand Mahindra and two others in Gandhi Nagar PS over violation of the Trademark and Copyright Act. Police officials informed that the company’s managing director Anish Shah and Evo India magazine editor Shirish Chandran have also been named in the FIR.
