“Two days ago, we objected to Rahul Gandhi’s statement on Savarkar. After that, we remained absent from the opposition meeting called by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Sunday. The objection raised by us has been considered. I have discussed the issue of Savarkar with Rahul Gandhi. This topic is over for us now. Our differences are no more. After that, we attended the meeting of the opposition called today (March 29),” said Sanjay Raut.

Questioned that if Rahul Gandhi makes a statement on Savarkar in future, what will the Thackeray faction do, Raut said, “We don’t want to talk more about this issue. Our differences have been resolved. If Rahul Gandhi raises the same issue again, we will take a decision. But we believe that Rahul Gandhi will not raise Savarkar’s issue.”

Jaipur: The Rajasthan High Court on Wednesday acquitted all the accused in the 2008 serial Jaipur blast case which claimed 71 lives and left over 180 injured. The accused were given capital punishment by a trial court which was challenged in the High Court.

The division bench of justices Pankaj Bhandari and Sameer Jain pronounced judgement on Wednesday.

13, 2008 when bombs went off one after another at Manak Chawk Khanda, Chandpole Gate, Badi Chaupad, Chhoti Chaupad, Tripolia Gate, Johri Bazar and Sanganeri Gate. The explosions in the evening left 71 people dead, 185 injured.
