However, a section of private hospitals is still opposing the bill. The operators of these private hospitals have warned of boycotting treatment under government schemes if the bill is passed.

The auction of the land is expected to fetch more than Rs 250 crore to the JDA’s coffers. Ravi Jain along with top officials reached the spot today to see development works going on there. In the scheme of the land, three roads have been proposed. Of them, which were 45-wide earlier have been widened to 80 feet while the width of the third road is proposed to be 60 feet.

Jaipur: A general coach of the Aravalli Express, which runs from Bandra-Terminus to Sriganganagar, derailed near Ajmer on Thursday. As soon as information about derailment was received, Railway Police Force in-charge Laxman Gaur along with Divisional Railway Manager Rajiv Dhankhar and Railway officials reached the spot and inquired about the incident. Jaipur: Gopalan minister Krishna Kunal has ordered an inquiry into the irregularities on part of Dr Lal Singh who worked as the director of the department without a posting order and issued financial sanctions.

Khyali Saharan booked for rape in Jaipur
Jaipur (PTI): Famous stand-up comedian Khyali Saharan has been booked for allegedly raping a 25-year-old woman in a hotel, police said on Thursday.
On the basis of a complaint lodged by the woman, a case was registered against the comedian on Tuesday at Mansarovar police station here, they said.
According to police, the incident took place on Monday when the comedian, who is an AAP activist, in an “inebriat- ed condition” allegedly raped the woman. “A case under IPC Section 376 (rape) has been registered following a complaint lodged by the woman,” said sub-inspector Sandeep Yadav.
