CEO Letter

From the CEO

We are excited to bring to you the entries, finalists, and winners of the CAA2021 Awards for Excellence. While we won’t be able to celebrate in person this year, we nonetheless wanted to take the opportunity to share the incredible programs and projects that have been entered into this years’ CAA Awards. The CAA Awards for Excellence have time and time again proven to bring to the forefront ground-breaking and innovative projects from across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea, some that have gone on to change the sector and how our services are delivered, and patients have been treated. This year we welcomed 31 entries across six categories including our newest category ‘Excellence in Mental Health and Wellbeing’. For the first time ever the winner announcements were made online at our CAA2021 Awards for Excellence Virtual Event, if you missed it head over to the CAA YouTube page or website to catch up on all the excitement. For the first time in awards history, we also lost a year, the 2020 awards were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, taking into consideration just how busy and how much pressure the pandemic put our teams under. In case you didn’t hear all about the winners, I will not give away any spoilers but rather invite you to look through this magazine and read about the exciting programs. Share with us in celebrating the Category winners and of course the grand Star Award winner. As for the 2022 Awards, these will officially open for submissions on Monday, 22 November 2021, so start getting your entries ready and join us for the CAA Awards for Excellence 15th Year Anniversary in Sydney on August 12th, 2022. Congratulations to all the 2021 winners!
