WELCOME EVERYONE TO THE 2023 CAA CONGRESS.
On behalf of The Council of Ambulance Authorities (CAA), I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to you to this the highly anticipated 2023 CAA Congress. It is an honour to have you join us for this prestigious event, which promises to be a memorable and enriching experience for all involved.
The CAA Congress has been running in various formats since 2009, and has consistently served as a platform for thought leaders, experts, professionals and vendor partners in the ambulance and emergency services sector to convene, collaborate, and shape the future of our industry. As the preeminent forum for leaders in the Australasian ambulance sector, this congress is a testament to our collective dedication to improving the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of emergency care.
This year’s congress, themed “Inspire, Innovate Elevate,” offers all of you an exceptional program that will explore advancements, best practices, and innovative strategies in emergency medical services. Throughout the congress, you will have the opportunity to engage in insightful discussions, participate in interactive workshops, and gain valuable insights from renowned speakers who are at the forefront of emergency healthcare.
There will also be exhibitor demonstrations, poster sessions and a range of master classes for you to attend and enjoy.

The Council of Ambulance Authorities (CAA)
The Council of Ambulance Authorities represents a unified voice for the ambulance sector working to respond to changing community needs by coordinating the collaboration of the eleven statutory ambulance services in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea on issues of metropolitan, regional, national and international significance.
The CAA was established in 1962 to provide ambulance service leaders with a networking opportunity to discuss issues, learning, and achievements current to the sector. This tradition continues today through a number of committees, forums and networking groups that contribute to CAA’s focus on evidence-based initiatives and projects designed to keep ambulance services at the forefront of paramedicine.
The CAA represents the ambulance sector on relevant Australasian and international committees, partners with stakeholders and works with government to advocate for world-class outcomes.
