Tom Freeland

I was born and raised in Green Valley, Arizona. Real estate runs in my family. It is in my blood. My dad was a successful real estate agent in Green Valley for 45 years. Also, he was a land developer in the area. I remember reading my father’s land contracts around the age of 9. I am loyal to my dad to a fault which gave me a fierce desire to win by playing on his high school football team. As a result, it helped propel me to the top in sports and eventually onto real estate. In addition, I have two older brothers, Zach and Tony Freeland, who were the owners of Pierce Custom Homes- a highly respected custom home builder in Southern Arizona.

At the age of 19, my father encouraged me to get a job. Wanting to follow in my father’s footsteps, I enrolled in the Hogan School of Real Estate. That summer while my friends were off having fun, I was passing the Arizona Real Estate Exam. After passing the exam, I went to work for my brother’s custom home business helping clients select their homesites and model plans for their future dream homes. I later found my place working in new home sales at Quail Creek Active Retirement Community.

As much as I enjoy real estate, my passion is art. I went on to graduate from the University of Arizona with a degree in Fine Art, I have been able to successfully use this creative thinking to help my clients find the home of their dreams. I have an intimate knowledge of the Quail Creek community working for Robson Communities for over 7 years. Being a top performer as well as extensive knowledge of the area was a real advantage for me when helping my clients.

After leaving Robson, I continued to follow my dreams obtaining a degree in Marketing & Graphic Design. I used this skill to hone my craft in sales and marketing for my clients. To gain experience in advertising and marketing, I interned at one of the largest advertising firms LP&G in Tucson. I continued on to start my own advertising design business for real estate agents.

After missing the opportunity to work directly with customers in a sales situation, I shifted my career to Jim Click Automotive in Green Valley where I climbed the ranks in sales yet again and was number one in the community and a Top 10 performer company wide for several years running.

Needless to say, I am excited to return to my roots and start helping families and investors find homes in Green Valley, Sahuarita, and Tubac.
